Great stay- property very clean and exactly has shown. So nice to have a kitchen fridge to couches to relax. Hosts are very communicative and available and interesting to talk to. Mahalo!
The property managers were extremely welcoming and took the time to get to know us a little bit, when we first arrived. The property was extremely nice, well kept, and in a fairly nice neighborhood. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, quite, and relaxing place to stay, while in Oahu.
We had such a great time staying here. The house is beautiful, spacious, so clean and very comfortable. Anne was a wonderful host and was always available to answer questions or give suggestions. We will definitely be back!
Perfect getaway on the North Shore. Great location. Anne was easy to communicate with. would recommend her place. Only downsides: chickens/roosters are noisy very early in the morning and the 2 bedrooms have no enclosing walls. Neither was a significant issue for us.
This is a beautiful quiet property with beautiful views and lots of fruit trees. Cassie gave us a tour of the grounds and gave us apple bananas, papaya and avocado grown on the property. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!
Very nice property. Very clean. We got fresh fruit right from the property-bananas, avocados, papayas. Easy access to all the North Shore attractions. Great access to hiking and running trails. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
We loved the studio, which is absolutely well equipped. Annegret is a super kind, helpful host! The neighborhood is nice, but the roosters which are living there are very loud already at 5am 😊
The only thing we did not like were the big cockroaches that were running around in the bathroom and living room.
Our stay in Pūpūkea is definitely one for the books. The beautiful scenery of the ocean when driving up and down the mountain was absolutely breathtaking every time. The kind owners picked delicious sweet bananas for us and checked in on us kindly. They recommended some delicious food places and the nearby beaches were picturesque. It was definitely a treat staying in this beautiful home and we definitely plan on coming back again.
We enjoyed our stay and found the location to be perfect for exploring all of the north shore beaches. It was quick and easy to get to the grocery store, and Haleiwa and turtle bay were about 10 min drive in the opposite directions. There are also amazing food trucks nearby so many good quick dining options. The unit was totally spotless and clean, and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful and let us borrow snorkel gear and a boogie board! Check in and out was easy and the setup was perfect for a couple traveling with 1-2 kids. We loved the open air floor plan and listening to the peaceful rain and breeze. We also enjoyed the ocean view. The kitchen was nicely stocked although we mostly ate out it was nice to have breakfast and snacks at the rental. We didn’t get a chance to hike, but it seems like there is more to explore further up the mountain on Pupukea. Would return!!

My Pupukea Home Away From Home
Our family lived in Pupuke for 15 years. We just sold our home and needed a place to stay during Christmas and New Years 2010. This apartment was wonderful. Anna is wonderful to deal with. It is clean and on a quiet street in upper Pupukea. Melanie who is the onsite manager was great. My old home was right down the street so it was so familier to be here. Hope to stay again this Chirstmas and New Years.
What a gorgeous pleasant surprise. The property is located two miles upland from the beach. The apartment is in a new building and is spacious, quiet, classy and well outfitted. It has a beautiful garden view of lush tropical vegetation, and a peekaboo view of the ocean. It was a wonderful retreat to relax and recover after a day of exploring the Island. The "studio" design refers to an open concept, and the two bedrooms are separated by a divider, but do not have individual doors. This was fine or our stay, but it may not work for two couples. The washer and dryer are coin operated, so lots of quarters are required.
Clean, well maintained-property Excellent space , close to beach
We came from WY. Anna, our host was amazing , the neighbors very friendly. House was fully furnished, very clean and homey.. beautiful view and just a few minute drive to the beach .. would definitely recommend!!
We enjoyed our time here. It was clean, and convenient. Not coastal, but only about a 5-7 min drive to the beach. The only downfall is the futon listed is pretty rock hard and not comfortable. Extra pillows and bedding would have been appreciated. There is no AC here which was fine in November. We slept with the windows open and every morning at 4am we had a wake up call from the jungle fowl. It’s ok though because it felt like we were having a more exotic experience! The house assistant was very friendly and brought us fresh avacados and apple bananas daily.
Property well taken care of. No air conditioning so it was very humid most of the time. Bedrooms are separated by closets with an opening on top so no privacy. TV would work for a few minutes and then reboot which takes it almost ten minutes. Property owner very nice and informative about places to see and eat.
