Great cabin in a perfect location
We really enjoyed our stay at this clean, quiet, and comfortable cabin. Loved the hot tub and sauna, and the location was great - close to Steven's Pass and not far from Leavenworth. Also great for kids and dogs! Would highly recommend.

Lovely girls trip getaway
This cabin was absolutely perfect. It was clean, easy to get to, and surrounded by beautiful mountains and the Skykomish river. Becca was very responsive and the directions/ house rules were all clear and easy to follow. I would definitely stay here again!! The king bed upstairs was very comfortable, as was the queen downstairs. The hot tub was lovely after a hike and the sauna was such a treat!!

Ideal cabin vacation
Had such a lovely long weekend stay with my spouse and our dog. The property was as advertised and we would certainly stay again. Things to know for prospective visitors: property provides firewood for woodstove or outside fire pit, but no newspaper, kindling, no hatchet etc. the wood was slightly damp, so impossible to light without help. Bring some paper or cardboard with you to enjoy the full woodstove cabin experience.I did not take off a star because the place was so awesome, but the one downfall was the showers/sinks having poor drainage. The downstairs tub/shower was the worst of them and left you standing in shin deep water while showering which felt gross. We just used the upstairs shower which was not as bad. The back sliding door is REALLY hard to open and close, had to have my husband do it for me. If these two issues were remedied, the place would be perfect. I still give it 5/5. It was lovely and every house has its own quirks. It was well stocked and had many thoughtful additions for things you may need were there. I would recommend this place to a friend. Very nice, especially considering they allow dogs. The place felt clean and private.

A quaint cabin perfect for our ski trip
I would highly recommend this cabin. It is super-spacious, very well equipped, with high quality amenities. The log fire is cosy, and the hot tub and sauna an unexpected luxury. We stayed for 3 nights to go skiing at Steven's Pass over Christmas, an easy 30mins drive away. Becca, the host was very attentive with and very quick to respond to queries. We almost didn't book as there were only a handful of reviews - don't let that put you off!

About the host

Hosted by Becca

Host profile image
Hey! I'm originally from Homer, Alaska and have lived in Seattle since 2008. I love to travel and enjoy a mix of exploration / adventure and relaxation wherever I go. Experiences are everything and that's why I became a host - to create and provide beautiful spaces for cherished memories. I love unique spas and feel self care is a significant part of life.

Chasing the sun and spending time outdoors with my dog Ruby is a must in my life. She inspired the Wild Dog Cabin and reminds me to play every day. I hope you enjoy staying at our rental!

Why they chose this property

Growing up the woods of Alaska, I always knew I wanted to own a cabin. When I moved to Seattle and began to explore the beautiful depths of Highway 2. I fell in love with its serenity. The rushing waters of the Skykomish River, the snow peaked mountains during the winter, and summertime hiking adventures of numerous nearby trails. When I found this cabin, I knew it was meant to be. I embarked on a 7+ month long extensively remodel to transform the space into a design forward, cozy, luxe cabin of my dreams to share with others. I set out to keep the original cabin charm with exposed beams, but elevate the space with luxury finishes. I wanted to create an experience for the dreamers looking to escape into the woods, with focus on self care and reflection. We all need inner peace and I promise you'll find it here. We're so happy you found us!
