We appreciated the host providing the coffee, sweeteners & make-up remover cotton items in the bathroom. Most hosts don't do this, so it was a plus. The kitchen had all we needed except a pitcher for juice/tea. The spa was great after I turned the temp. down from 105 degrees and it was nice to have a backyard. We didn't try the firepit because it was warm while we were there.
Hopefully, the owner treated the exterior area for the swarming fly problem we encountered outside between the entry door and the front gate when temps. rose to about 95 degrees for several days. We notified the property mgr. who responded quickly, saying they would pass along the notification to the owner. This wasn't a problem when we arrived before the weather was hot. We also found a large spider (Daddy Long-legs) in the tub & another large spider that we removed.
It wasn't a big problem, but since quiet hours are requested on the listing, it's only fair to say that we could hear people on the other side of the house like you do in a hotel after quiet hours.
I used the laundry to dry a swimsuit. Housekeeping had left a big load of towels in the dryer & the machines had stuff on top of the W/D & piled around them. Needs improvement.
Given the cost of the rental, it could've been better.
We had a great stay. It was like being in a 5 stars hotel. Quiet, clean and great bed. Driving distance to wineries. We enjoy the jacuzzi and dog loved the area. I wish I had more time to stay here. I will definitely will come back
Well laid out space for two people and a pet! Kitchen had everything we needed, hot tub was clean and relaxing, nice soft towels, blankets, and bedding, and bed was comfortable. View out the patio door was lovely. It was a great space for a quiet retreat to catch up on work. Only complaint was the barking dogs on the other side of the fence, but the owners did their best to manage the dogs and keep them from barking anytime we went outside.
Everything was as described. It was just enough room for the 2 of us. It is a mother-in-law apartment attached to a house; however, we had total privacy.
The unit was clean and well stocked with a nice enclosed yard for our dog. The bed was comfortable and the place was quiet. Having a hot tub was great. The location pretty much required driving, but that was fine for our short stay.
There was a double booking mixup before we arrived, but the managers/owners handled it promptly and graciously.
We would definitely book again.
We enjoyed our two-week stay while we visited friends in Santa Rosa. Easy access to main roads into downtown, walking distance from a Safeway, and interesting area for walks or bike rides through the neighborhood. The hot tub was a treat, and the backyard with fire table made early morning coffee cozy while we watched and listened to birds and neighborhood sounds.
Kitchen is well-equipped, but we had to buy our own cooking staples like oil, salt, etc.
Cute p, clean and comfy home. Modern feel in a wooded neighborhood. The hot tub and close proximity to many sites in both Sonoma and Napa counties were a plus.
My husband and I had SUCH a nice time here! Very clean, everything was just like the photos. The neighborhood was quiet (I need the window cracked even in winter) We took our German shorthair and felt very comfortable with him outside. Very secure. So close to everything! We walked to the grocery store. Wineries and brew pubs are within 10-30 minutes, depending which ones you are looking for.
We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay here again!
