Welcome to Sunset 4848. We've poured our heart and soul into this breathtaking vacation rental that promises an unforgettable mountain getaway experience. With its unobstructed long-range sunset views, Sunset 4848 is the perfect place to escape to, unwind and connect with nature. Designed to sleep 8 guests, this professionally designed 3 bed/2 full bath retreat is a haven of comfort and style, and every inch of it is devoted to making your stay as memorable as possible!

When you are ready for adventure, skip the hassle of loading everyone into the car! Grab your skis/snowboards, walk down the stairs, and head out to the parking area. You can either catch a shuttle from there and be dropped off directly at the Village. Or, you can warm up for the slopes by going up approximately 50 steps to the Village parking area. As you return from your fun-filled day, you’ll find plenty of coat hooks and a boot tray for all your outerwear.

After making your way up one flight of stairs to the top floor/scenic level, you’ll conveniently access Sunset 4848 via key-less entry with a code created specifically for you. Step into the heart of Sunset 4848, the living and dining room, and immerse yourself in the amazing views of the West Virginia mountains. The warmth of the wood walls, gas fireplace, and modern furnishings will welcome you, and you'll have plenty of comfortable seating for everyone.
Step outside to the deck and be awestruck by the unobstructed wild West Virginia mountain views. Dine al fresco, relax with a glass of wine, or cozy up under blankets and stargaze at night. On clear nights, observe the milky way!
Inside, the fully equipped cook's kitchen awaits, with all the appliances and tools you need to whip up your favorite meals. Coffee lovers will appreciate the variety of brewing options and the assortment of flavored syrups, tea and coffee beans supplied. Gather and dine at the large live-edge dining table for 8, complete with a built-in banquette and mountain views.
Relax by the cozy gas fireplace after a day on the slopes or the trails. Warm up, get comfortable and converse on the leather sofas or watch your favorite shows and sports on the 56” TV.

After a full day on the slopes or playing games and relaxing at Sunset 4848, head for restful sleep in your choice of three bedrooms. Bedrooms provide brand-new features, including:

– Beautiful, stylish upholstered beds
– Selection of two pillow types– firm and soft
– Heated mattress pads for those cold nights
– Cozy reading lights/sconces
– Nightstands with multiple charging options for all of your devices
In the Primary bedroom, you’ll find a King mattress on a beautifully upholstered, designer bed below two pieces of art featuring gorgeous sunset skies. Rest on the new memory-foam mattress and stay toasty via its heated mattress pad. Sconce lamps on both sides of the bed facilitate reading, and you’ll appreciate the convenience of bedside nightstands with charging cubes for each of your devices. Enjoy your favorite shows on the smart TV ready for log-in to your favorite subscription services.
The secondary Bedroom also offers a new queen memory-foam mattress, a heated mattress pad, new bedding and beautiful sunset artwork.
The bunk room offers 2 bunk-beds (4 twin beds) with brand new twin memory-foam mattresses, heated mattress pads, and a cheerful, professionally designed feel. Each cozy bunk offers a sconce for late night reading in bed. It’s the perfect place for kiddos or teens!

Refresh and rejuvenate in Sunset 4848’s professionally designed bathrooms. Each bathroom has a fresh, modern feel with stylish tile and glass shower doors.
Every effort has been made to supply sustainable, eco-friendly and non-toxic soaps and cleaning supplies. We have worked toward supporting the local West Virginia community by providing locally roasted coffee and honey from locally sourced vendors. All bathrooms supply nontoxic shampoo, conditioner, body soap and hand soap from Public Goods in addition to plush white linens and make up cloths.
We supply start up necessary paper amenities (toilet paper rolls, paper towels, tissue paper). Based on your usage habit and your length of stay, you may not have enough and should plan accordingly.
☆☆ PARKING☆☆
Parking is available on a first come first serve basis in a total of two spots in the common parking area of the complex. Additional parking can be found in the Snowshoe Village parking area.
Public shuttle service is available to the Village and other Snowshoe Mountain amenities.

Sunset 4848 has a minimum age requirement. All adult members of your party must be 25 or older unless they are children traveling as part of a family group. Every guest must be registered and verified on your reservation. We have a strict no party or gathering policy.
Pets are not allowed.
No smoking is allowed inside the condo or indoor public space of the hotel. Smoking includes cigarettes, vaping, marijuana or anything else that can be assimilated to smoking.
Guest must sign Rental Agreement and provide Government ID.
Although you have access to the entire home, there are 2 locked supply closets that are not accessible to guests.
The property is equipped with video recording camera at the front entrance for the safety of our guests. It is used for security purpose only. Any recording is automatically deleted after 30 days.
Third Party Reservations (Guest not occupying the home) are strictly forbidden and again any channel policy (airbnb, VRBO, booking...). The guest who made the reservation must be an active occupant of the home for the entire duration of the reservation. Unauthorized guests will be removed from the property and the reservation will be immediately canceled. No refund will be provided regardless of the cancellation policy.
Your arrival (and departure) are fully contactless. You will be provided with detailed check-in instructions the afternoon prior to your arrival including a code and/or mobile app to enter the home.
We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is entirely up to you. We are only a phone call/message away and will respond usually within minutes during extended business hours. During the overnight, we probably wont get back to you until early the next morning. If there is a life threatening emergency, please contact 911 and then call us and leave us a voicemail. We reserve the right to stop by the property at anytime but will give you at least 4 hours notice except in case of emergency.

We are the family behind Sunset 4848 and are so excited to share a little bit of our story with you! I am Lisa. My husband Jeremy and I have three fabulous kiddos and two puppies, Dixie and Maple. We currently reside in Houston, Texas but our home state is Ohio.
