This recently remodeled second floor ski-in/out Breckenridge condo offers convenience to both mountain and town. Situated above the Quicksilver lift at Peak 9 and two blocks to Main Street. A wonderful rock cut fireplace, king bed in the Master Bedroom, new furnishings, flat screen TV, and a remodeled bedroom area round out this comfortable cozy Trails End condo. Guests enjoy the privacy of the private balcony. After a day on the slopes or trails relax in the indoor/outdoor hot tubs and sauna on site. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor pool and indoor/outdoor hot tubs across the street. Free Wi-Fi and laundry access are also included with your stay at Trails End.

Great location

Condo is nice, love the short walk to the lift. Air was very dry - there was a humidifier but it didn't work.

Quaint, Clean, and close to everything!

The condo was not fancy but perfect for a quick getaway! It had all the comforts necessary for a couple or small family. The location is wonderful!

Great location, unit needs a new bed

The location is fantastic but the unit could really use a new bed to make the stay more comfortable. It is difficult enough to sleep in Breck when you are not used to the elevation and having such an old bed and bedframe made the stay difficult. I would stay in this unit again but only if I knew the bed was upgraded.

Disappointing...

The location is great, but the unit is quite dated and needs some simple maintenance and updates. But the most disappointing part was what happened on the second morning of our 3-night stay. There was a knock on the door around 10am and as I started to open it, the lock turned and someone started to come in. The guy looked surprised and said "Oh, sorry. They told us it was vacant." He turned around and left and I called the property management company to ask how/why someone else had a valid door code during our stay. They were great and responded appropriately with assurances that they'd investigate. A few minutes later they called to say that it was the unit's owner. Apparently he thought he could just drop by whenever he wants. I own a vacation rental property and the management companies all have apps or websites where owners can check availability but I guess this guy didn't bother checking and then he lied to my face with the "They told me it was vacant" line. They had NOT received a call from him; he was acting solo. Very uncool. So rent this place if you want, but be prepared for the owner to just drop by when he feels like it. Or better yet, rent one of the other units in the same building managed by Great Western Lodging. They were great.

The location of the property was great. Once we were able to figure out where we were in relation to the ski area, we found the ski in and ski out location. It would be nice if there was a map in the unit so that travelers can orientate themselves on where they are, especially when arriving in the evening. The unit itself was clean but a few minus aspects were: the pull-out bed was broken so we ended up sharing a bed. We were offered an air mattress but the clutter and uncomfortable-ness wasn't worth it. The heat in the main room didn't work since the fireplace was broken. We were given space heaters right away when we complained of the cold, so the maintenance crew was very quick and helpful, but then the space heaters blew the fuse so we were without power until maintenance could show me where the fuse box was (old wiring with no GFCI). Space heaters are just a little smelly and loud but not a huge deal, just inconvenient. I was also surprised with the included amenities and toiletries - no coffee or tea with the included coffee maker and no lotion. Not complaining, just a little disappointed with how much we paid for the room. Standard perks are nice....

Great Location

We skied Breck for a few days and this condo was very convenient for ski in/out. The outdoor hot tub was great for Apres Ski, with bigger outdoor hot tubs available across the street as well. The room was a little dated and the mattress was not the most comfortable, but overall a convenient and satisfying location for skiing the Peak 9 area of Breck.

Parking was difficult...

We arrived about 8pm and the lot was full. Very stressful figuring out what to do. We rented our particular unit because it had a king size bed. Unfortunately it was very concave and terrible on the back. The rest of the condo was great. A bit dated but in good shape. No complaints there.

Good spot

Was disappointed that the hottubs were not available. The community hot tubs were open at all other surrounding resorts. The condo however was very nice and close to the lift.

Thanksgiving get away

Location was awesome I’ve stayed at the Doubletree in Breck so I was familiar with the location. Place so clean and tidy. Downfall, Master bed was so Uncomfortable we slept on the fold out couch👎 There wasn’t a comforter on the bed just a thin blanket and sheets. No wash clothes !! Tried to contact management for a few questions and never heard back!

Not worth the money

The property was outdated and tired. The bed was not good. A memory foam topper had been placed and did not make up for the bad bed. Sheets and bedding was great though. Overall, the pictures created an expectation that was not realized.

Everything good except the bed!

Mattress was terrible, saggy no support so they added a 2 inch foam topper, my back hurt everyday, terrible sleeping.

Weekend gateway

Excellent place! Only wish we knew we needed simple items such as salt, pepper, oil, etc. we’ve stayed at many places and usually those items are included. It would of been nice to have so we didn’t have to go purchase them. Otherwise, great place! Very clean and centrally located to the town. We truly enjoyed our weekend. Thanks so much!

Great condo

Just needed a reasonably priced place for the gf and I to sleep/shower for a weekend getaway from the city. The condo worked out great. Easy walk to Main St and all the bars and restaurants.

Close to everything.

This property is a short walk to Main St. There is plenty of place to shop and eat nearby. The room was very clean and the living area was comfortable. It had 2 TVs. My only complaint about the unit was that there was a 4 inch memory foam top on the bed that was very uncomfortable but there was a regular mattress underneath it. There are 2 hot tubs but only half of the jets worked in the one outside and neither had a very strong force of water coming from the jets.

Cozy little condo. Close to everything!

Even though my husband broke his arm the first day. This was the perfect location for everything. We walked everywhere. Could of used some beach towels for the jacuzzi but other than that. Everything was amazing!!

February 2018 Stay

Trails End is a great complex with ski in/ski out , near the ski school, and a very easy walk to town. We had everything we needed and the condo was very clean, but the lighting seriously needs updating. The kitchen and bathroom lights just need an upgrade from fluorescent. The bedding could use an update as well. Overall, it was a really nice place. There are, however, nicer units in this complex.

September 2017 Stay

Why cram into a noisy ski town condo during peak season? Breck offers some of the most peaceful and beautiful off season experiences in the Rockies. The space was clean, nothing added that wasn't needed, quiet and nicer than the photos on the booking page reveal. I did feel a bit sad to discover the pictured boom-box had been removed, rendering all my Heart, ZZ-Top and REO Speedwagon cassette tapes useless. Go Breck...and go in the fall.

July 2017 Stay

The staff at Great Western are exceptional ... professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and quick to assist with any and everything. Trail's End is simply wonderful. The location is perfect. It's like you step off the main thoroughfare to go to your condo, and as if by magic you're in this private, quiet, sweetly secluded space. It's awesome! Our condo was pretty, clean, lacked absolutely nothing, and our patio view was of trees, nature, and beauty. Loved the spa and sauna!! In fact, we loved everything about Breckenridge, Trail's End, and Great Western. Thanks so much for everything!
