Our one bedroom, Mackinaw City Michigan vacation rental condo is located in The Shores at Mackinaw Condominium resort. Available year round and fully furnished with outdoor heated beach front pool. Wonderful stay

This was a trip to fulfill a 40 yr dream of seeing this area for my friend. She loved it and I enjoyed being the host for her trip. The condo was a grest way to start off. Good location, clean, very nice atmosphere and views.

High School Graduation Trip

Loved the ease of everything from booking to check-in and check-out. Very clean unit facing both the lake and the pool. Super friendly people in the condo complex! Several stopped and talked with my 18-year-old niece and me when we were outside. We felt very welcome at The Shores. Great communication with property manager. Would definitely stay again! Awesome condo with great views.

My husband and I brought our granddaughter for a visit to Mackinac Island. This was a wonderful place to stay. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. My granddaughter loved the pool. The property manager was exceptionally nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great stay!

Fun Fall Getaway

My wife and I scheduled a week stay from October 22-October 29. We didn't realize we were checking in at the end of the tourist season. We tried to prepare ourselves for the disappointment of cold weather and nothing to do. It turns out we went at the perfect time. We were able to visit Mackinac island, enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride, and explore The Grand Hotel. There were no crowds. It was great! We also took a day trip to the upper peninsula. The autumn leaves were showing off their vibrant colors and the dark sky park thrilled us with shooting stars and the Milky Way. The condo was spotless, conveniently located, and had an abundance of closet space for our jackets, coats, hiking boots, and etc. Everything we needed (plus some unexpected treats) were stocked. What a great experience!

This condo is a great place to stay in Mackinaw city. Close to everything, quiet neighborhood, very clean!! All information and communication with the host and property manager was quick and thorough. We would stay here again.

Really enjoyed location and condo. It has everything you’d need, plus nice added touches. It had several snacks and water bottles available. Kleenex available in all rooms. We found two bikes in a closet but never got around to asking if we could use them. We would happily return in the future.

Perfect!

Visiting Mackinaw has been a favorite summer activity, but finding a nice place to stay can be a challenge. This condo was nice beyond our expectations! It was sparkling clean & was stocked with supplies for the bathroom and kitchen. It’s perfect for 2 people, although the couch unfolds for an extra person. The location is a short drive to the city. It has a beautiful view of Lake Huron from the beach! Communication was never a problem and questions were promptly answered. We would definitely return for a longer stay.

We loved our stay! The location of the condo was picture perfect. The pool is right against the beach. You can listen to rhe waves while you relax in the sun. I highly recommend it! Be mindful there is really only room for 4 adults. Perfect for our girls weekend! Less than 5 minutes from downtown Mackinaw too, so its far enough to relax and enjoy the quiet community, but still able to enjoy the downtown restaurants and shops!

A lovely retreat on the shores of lake huron

We felt very relaxed at Maria's place. The view of water from the living room provided for tranquility. The kitchen had all the needed equipment to prepare easy meals. Being able to use the amenities of the community pool and beach made this an additionally splendid way to enjoy our time after day trips. Thanks for a terrific listing and sharing your space in this beautiful part of Michigan. We were able to drive a short way to the ferry and explore parts of the Upper Peninsula too!

Mackinac

The condo was clean and comfortable, we had everything we needed for a nice vacation. The area was lovely, grounds were kept, friendly neighbors. The property manager checked to be sure all is was we. The location was nice, just 5 minute drive to the ferry to the island which was beautiful. Spring gardens in full bloom, not too any tourists, easy to get on ferries with short wait. Initially, from reading the information about the property was on the island, rather than the mainland. It was not clearly stated but in the end being on the main land was best as there were great thing to do in Mackinaw City as well as great food! If you go, take the time to drive the the Maritime Museum on Lake Superior. It was amazing!!

We grew up in Michigan and still live and work in Michigan. Mackinaw City has always been our family's favorite vacation destination in Michigan. We never tire of visiting Mackinaw City, Mackinaw Island and Northern Michigan.

Why they chose this property

We were actually walking in the Labor Day Mackinac Bridge Walk and then spent the day on Mackinac Island. When taking the Mackinac Island ferry back to Mackinaw City we drove past the new condos being built at the Shores of Mackinaw 49701 in Sept 2001 and simply fell in love with this Luxury Condominium Complex located on the Shores of Lake Huron directly facing Mackinac Island and also a spectacular view of the Mackinaw Bridge. It doesn't get any better than this in Mackinaw City!

What makes this property unique

Our condominium has a wonderful and informative conceirge service. Our condo is within walking distance of a heated swimming pool with a spectacular view of Lake Huron and Mackinac Island. Bonfires on the beach every evening during the summertime are the norm. Excellent view of the 4th of July fireworks from our beach every year. Golfing at the Mackinac Club is always enjoyable. We can walk to the Mackinac Island ferries, the lighthouse, beaches, Fort Michilamackinac & visit great restaurants and shops. We can drive to St. Ignace Casino, Tahquamenon Falls, Lex Cheneaux Islands, Sault St. Marie, Drummond Island and only an hour away from Petoskey's excellent shopping atomosphere.
