My husband and I stayed here while visiting my family in a neighboring town. When we arrived we were amazed at this beautiful little place on a beautiful property. It was so peaceful there and so quiet. We woke up very rested and refreshed and looked forward to returning there at the end of the day. Cheri answered our questions very quickly and made us feel at home. We really hope to return again.
Lovely cabin nicely furnished with everything you need including body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Everything was in good working order. Pictures really don't do justice, it feels much larger and is very nice. Could use new bed pillows.
Hosts are very welcoming. Cabin is cleanest VRBO in which we’ve ever stayed. We would stay here again. Cabin has all essentials needed for an extended stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Cozy, adorable, well appointed, immaculate! All the attention to detail was appreciated. Furniture in the living room area and bedroom were comfortable. TV and internet worked well. Bed pillows cold use an upgrade. Would highly recommend!
This is a place we hope to stay at over and over when we come to town to visit our kids. Everything was great! We have zero negatives. We will be back!
I rented this for family coming into town for Thanksgiving. They loved it. Lots in the cabin for my 10 month old granddaughter including a pack n play.
The was a clean and comfotable home to stay the week in. It is a peaceful setting with nature all around you. We experienced great communication with the host and easy check in and out.
We truly enjoyed the house. It was perfect for the two of us. It was clean and nicely furnished. We had everything we needed. It was a great quiet location near our family. We will be back!
This is the perfect house. It is very quiet and clean. The hosts are amazing. We had a couple of questions and they immediately handled our concerns. Plenty of room and beautiful property. I would highly recommend this place. This is second visit and wont be our last
If you enjoy peace and quiet with beautiful views, this is the perfect place. Owners are very kind and accommodating. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had all the little things available for cooking/coffee. We definitely stay again.
The property was amazing along with the views. Convient to places nearby but tucked away for privacy. I couldn't get over the beautiful view everyday. The manager was so nice and accommodating.
Beautiful cabin, great location close to Knoxville and Smokey Mountains. Very clean and well taken care of. The owners are wonderful. Will definitely book again in the future.
We stayed in the Cabin at House Mountain while we explored the area looking for our forever property. It was so clean and the view was amazing! The bed was comfortable and it is a king, which was our deciding factor, because most STRs only offer full or queen, and we are big folk, lol! The cabin had pretty much everything we needed for our week long stay. We wanted a place with a kitchen so we cold cook. We were able to cook with no issues of supplies. She even had basic supplies like cooking spray and some spices. The bathroom was large, but the shower was a little small for us. She does state that the internet is slow, which it is if you want to stream, but it was perfect for surfing the internet. As we were looking for properties, we had to do tons of research and the internet worked perfectly for that. Even though we happened to pick a very rainy week, we really enjoyed having the windows open and enjoyed the breeze and the fresh air, and the AC was perfect for the night time. The communication with Cheri was perfect. If we needed anything, she was right on top of it, answering questions right away. The family's house is right there, but you would never know it. They kept to themselves and we had plenty of privacy. Overall, we loved the cabin and would stay again if we were in the area!
I loved seeing the turkeys as I pulled up! I’m a big nature lover, so that was a bonus! Your property is gorgeous💕 I sat outside and watched the fireflies on my last night there. You’ve done a beautiful job with this place. I went there to disconnect from technology for a few days.
Me and my fiancé had a lot of fun everything was beautiful and would stay here again

About the host
Hosted by Cheri McAdow
We moved to Tennessee from Texas in 2019 and built our house on this beautiful property. We also built the cabin to accommodate our out of state family when they visit and to help pay for the upkeep of the beautiful property.
Why they chose this property
This is an amazing property with a spacious one bedroom cabin. The views are really beautiful. It is located central to the many area lakes, downtown Knoxville, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Sevierville! All are within a 1 hour drive. However, we are in a rural setting with only a handful of other homes nearby. Cattle and vegetable farms are nearby. Its a really peaceful setting.
What makes this property unique
Bring your fishing pole and catch a bass in one of our ponds! Drive 10 minutes to the other side of House Mountain, the highest point in Knox County and hike to the top (about 2.5 hour hike to the top) for a very special view of Corryton.
