We had a wonderful time. This nice little house was perfect for 4 adults. We met some wonderful neighbors and everyone was very friendly. The place was spotless and perfect for our getaway.
Sweet little Cabin- close to everything in town and easy drive to the mountain
This cabin was exactly what the pictures looked like and is well maintained. Did not love the spiral staircase with my young kids but it was fine. Communication with owners was good. The drive to the mountain was a straight shot and it was close to everything in town. We loved our stay in this cabin but it will sadly too small for us if/when we return to the mountain in the coming year for us 6. Thank you for making our stay so relaxing and good.
We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin is even more beautiful than expected. Our kids loved it (especially the stairs). I would highly recommend this place.
This is a perfect getaway house right off the highway hidden behind some very pretty pine trees. The design was perfect and very well planned out. The living room and kitchen were laid out upstairs with windows all the way around! Highly recommend for a fun place to relax and enjoy after exploring the pretty mountains. Great outdooor fireplace and picnic area.
The property owners could not have been more helpful. We had trouble locating the property and they came to the rescue themselves. This unique home was well equipped with all you could need. The high wood ceiling, the expanse of windows made one feel they were living in a treehouse.
Great stay! Everything that was stated in the description was accurate. Liked bedrooms being down and main living being upstairs, for those that go to bed early or early risers. My only disappointment was the trash responsibilities, I’m a rule follower - the store drop off for trash service (common) in the area was full and we were leaving early morning next day, store didn’t open , was even sure they would be excepting trash the next day- I wasn’t about to take it with us.
The property was more impressive than pictured. The cabin kitchen is well stocked for cooking and the furniture is comfortable. Plenty of heaters keep you warm. Located in the small town of South Fork, the cabin is within 2 minutes of grocery, gas, restaurants, and ski rentals. The drive to Wolf Creek Ski Park is a manageable 25-30 min depending on the conditions but plows keep the route open. A 4x4 vehicle is necessary during the snowy months. The only surprise during the stay was the absence of doors on the bedroom entrances (there is a door on the bathroom). Overall, great experience and value.
