This beautiful and recently remodeled cabin is in a league of its own! Possibly the only cabin in the surrounding area that has its own natural sand beach! The cabin sits nestled roughly 200 feet from the beautiful Cacapon River! Go down the gravel path to your very own river beach oasis, and make sure to keep your eyes peeled for our resident nesting Eagles and their Eaglets! You will see them practicing fishing or perching on their favorite trees very close to the beach! Best of all, the depth of the water provides a safe area for kids to swim but deep enough for adults to enjoy as well!
The cabin was remodeled in 2020 with new floors, a concrete pad underneath the cabin for entertaining, a beautiful new tile shower, and a fire ring that you can sit next to while losing yourself in the sounds of nature and the view of the stars! Its open floor plan allows for the family to stay close! One full-size bed and a pull out sofa bed are all you need to enjoy the relaxation! Let's not forget the wrap-around deck where you can kick your legs up and let the sound of the river put you to sleep!
The cabin has no internet or cable, but be sure to download all of your favorite Netflix shows and bring them along! You can also bring your favorite DVDs or VHSs! For those adults that enjoy a good game of Super Mario Bros, a Super Nintendo will be sure to bring back that childhood competitive spirit!
Do not forget your fishing poles, some of the best smallmouth fishing around can be enjoyed on many close sections of the river! Hiking trails to the rear of the cabin will lead you to find something you would expect to be native to Arizona, not WV. Be sure to explore the ground on the top of the hill. Leave what you find in your review :)
Come see why our cabin has been enjoyed by our family for almost 50 years!

Great weekend getaway for our family over Thanksgiving. Took time to disconnect, enjoy nature and was able to prep a full Thanksgiving dinner for the kids.
Our family had a wonderful time getting away from it all at the cabin. The beach area was perfect for our little children and our older two loved getting out on kayaks and fishing. The location is so tranquil! We also enjoyed small excursions to Berkeley Sprinds and the Paw Paw Tunnel.
We stayed for five days at the cabin. We took our dog. The location was amazing! It was laid-back, quiet, filled with starry nights and bonfires. Highly recommended!

We are a family of six that loves the outdoors. We have a small farm in Berkeley Springs WV and enjoy all things outside!
Why they chose this property
This cabin is very special to my family and for the first time in almost fifty years, we are sharing it with the rest of the world. This cabin is the reason my family moved to the Eastern Panhandle of WV. My grandparents bought the lot in the late 1960s, built the cabin in 1976, and our family followed suit to Berkeley Springs in the late 1980s. They immediately fell in love with the land because of the all-natural sand beach that has stood the test of time. My grandmother sold the cabin in 2010 and my wife and myself were able to buy it back into the family in 2018, where it will forever stay! Each year the beach changes slightly in size and shape, but it always remains! I can't begin to count the number of times we are asked how many tons of sand we needed to bring down for the beach and the reaction they have when we tell them it is a natural feature.
