Lovely and spacious, this modern 5 bedroom home is ideally situated for an idyllic Vermont adventure. At just 5 minutes from Mt Snow, Hermitage and 25 minutes to Stratton you’ll have easy access to amazing skiing, mountain biking, golf, jet skiing and so much more. The sprawling home features game rooms, a hot tub, sauna, fire pit, pizza oven, a serene 3 season deck and plenty of room to entertain and feel instantly at home.

This sprawling 4200 square foot home has been designed with both fun and relaxation in mind. Some of our best features (according to our guests) include:
- A stunning game room featuring pool, ping pong and arcade games
- A peaceful outdoor retreat with a hot tub, pizza oven, sprawling 3 season deck & fire pit
- A spacious gourmet kitchen with luxury appliances, well stocked with both kitchen essentials and pantry staples (plus 2 Bosch dishwashers to make clean up even easier)
- Bedrooms both dramatic and serene, most with en suites and large closets
- A soaking tub that you’ll want to take home with you
- A lower level perfect for playtime, complete with games, a popcorn machine and a huge sectional to take in all your favorite shows and movies
- A rejuvenating sauna to restore you from your adventures

About the area
West Dover and the surrounding area have an exciting array of activities for all ages. Our home is located just 5 minutes from Mt Snow, 10 minutes from Hermitage and 25 minutes from Stratton Mountain, giving our guests easy access to fabulous skiing, tubing, mountain biking, golf, concerts and other events all year round. For those looking for a more sedate retreat there are several spas, mountaintop yoga, shops and fabulous restaurants all minutes from the house. And those looking for some time on the water can find boating (both with motors and without), fishing and other water sports just 10 minutes away.

Other Items of Note:
We’re happy to welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs with a pet deposit. As this is a quiet residential neighborhood there are HOA noise restrictions in effect from 10pm-8am, and we do not allow parties or smoking in the home. Guests will have access to the entire house and outdoor spaces other than the owner’s closet (which is locked), so you can feel perfectly at home.

An incredible home!

We all loved our stay at this home! Tons of space, perfect for those lazy days when you're not hitting the slopes. The owner was very responsive with any questions we had and super helpful. Can't wait to go back!!

Great Ski Getaway

House was great to make family ski weekend memories. House was spacious and clean. The ski gods smiled on us and it snowed on Saturday night making Sunday skiing even better. The host, Veronica was great, made it easy to check in and was very responsive. The game room was entertaining for apres ski activities and the hot tub was even better after a day of skiing. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing home!

This house is perfect for a weekend getaway! We went up for a ski weekend with a combo of skiers and loungers. It was perfect for those of us who relaxed in the house with the sauna and hot tub, and great location near the mountain for the skiers. Veronica is a great host and very responsive. Couldn't have asked for more!

Great weekend

Fun things to do (hot tub, sauna, pool table and ping pong) with plenty of space for my friends and I to relax together or apart. We made good use of the gourmet kitchen and the outdoor pizza oven. Kitchen could use a little more light but had full accessories for your cooking needs. Having two dishwashers turned out to be really useful, who knew. It was too cold to use the screened in porch but looked wonderful.

Wonderful cozy home!!!

We can sum up our stay with one word, wow!!! Very nice and quiet neighborhood. The home was very comfortable and cozy for our stay. We were in town for a beautiful family wedding and very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. If you’re a TV in the bedroom kind of person like us, just be sure to bring your tablet and you’ll be all set. We’re already making plans to head back West Dover, VT.

Amazing house!

This property is amazing. It was unfortunately a rainy weekend when we came to stay, but our group didnt feel trapped at all because of how cool this house is! Veronica is very responsive and was also very accommodating to us which I greatly appreciated. I can’t recommend this listing enough!

Family Weekend!

My siblings and our spouses to our parents for a weekend getaway. The home is absolutely beautiful and all the little touches really blew us away. They had an array of spices and kitchen staples to utilize so you don’t have to buy any full sized things for one use. Outstanding full kitchen with ample space to prep and cook meals. We would totally recommend!

The house was amazing. The hosts were accessible the whole time if we needed them. They left us a great gift basket that even included a wonderful present for our dog. Loved the screened in back porch, the privacy, and the game room. Would stay here again in a second!

Summer stay for my boyfriends birthday!

Rented the house for a long weekend with 2 other couples for my boyfriends birthday! The house was gorgeous and beautifully decorated! The game room above the garage was a lot of fun we loved the arcade game and pool table and it felt like you were in a bar up there! The house has so much to offer between the game room, movie room, sauna, hot tub, fire pit and pizza oven! It really has something for everyone and you don’t even have to leave the house if you don’t want to! The location is also great, it’s beautiful and you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but it is minutes away from Mt. snow, bars, restaurants, and other activities! The owners were very accommodating! Veronica went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay perfect! From booking to checkout Veronica was very easy to work with and always answered messages quickly! We would definitely stay here again!!

Excellent house, hosts, and location!

We loved our stay at the house. Everything was as described and communication was excellent. We enjoyed both fly fishing and kayaking from the nearby Hermitage Inn and a visit to Hildene along with fun in and around the house.
