Camden holiday
With the exception of the access process at the start which was a debacle and cost a night's accommodation elsewhere, everything else was fine. Best was the location and easy access via the tube to everywhere I needed. The room, facilities etc were all as advertised and excellent for a single traveller. The initial access problem could have been avoided had the host provided a phone contact to handle emergencies - which, on the day, this certainly was.

Great place for short stay
We enjoyed our week long stay at Jades place. The location was fantastic and the size was just big enough for us. The kitchen facilities were great for a short stay so we could cook some of our own meals. Once we figured out the hot water (using the boiler and the taps being plumbed opposite) we were all settled. The building is very secure and there is a lift to get up to the apartment. Would recommend for a short stay.

Good place to stay and very easy to get around
We stayed for 1 week and were able to rest, cook meals at home and wash our clothes and dry them. It’s not a fancy place and don’t let the building scare you, it’s a great little place to stay. Close to trains and bus stop and grocery store

Avoid this property
Check out other reviews carefully. The place is hard to find, dirty, and the owner is not responsive to suggestions that would make the space work so much better. When we arrived, we could not figure out the heat and hot water (the owner gave instructions, but they are not that clear). The toilet was pre-used (unflushed) when we arrived. The oven was greasy, smelly, and filled with pizza crumbs. The linens smelled musty, and there was hair and dirt on the silverware, tables. In addition, the location turned out to be far from the tube.

Excellent stay
Very well situated , 15 min only by foot of Camden and the location itself was in a very calm area , so it was good to be back at the appartement afer a day walking in the streets of london wich were very crowded .

Great location and flat just as described
Enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Had a small snafu with the lock box that was purely operator error. Had zero issues with the hot water, unlike some of the other reviews.

Bien que situé dans un quartier très populaire, dans un immeuble mal entretenu aux odeurs nauséabondes, ainsi que des problèmes d'eau chaude qui ont pu être résolus, l'appartement est calme et propre. La ville de Londres est tellement agréable que tous les désagréments ont été oubliés.

I don’t know where the ratings came from this was the scariest place and I have blisters on my feet trying to find this horrible place if I could have got other accommodations I would have been out of there when we finally found we stayed 10mins then left until bedtime then up following day and out until bedtime the sofa you would have been better sitting on the floor and the shower didn’t have a door or a curtain 😡😡😡😡😡😡

London Stay
A very basic property (as advertised), but a pretty handy location. I could walk to all the big tourist attractions. Very quiet location. Comfortable bed. Directions were a bit difficult for finding it (probably my fault for not being familiar with the British numbering system and the VRBO app), but overall I was very happy with my stay. Host was very responsive.

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine à Londres dans le studio de jade! 2 adultes et une enfant de 10 ans! Appartement très propre ,au calme bien équipé pour faire la cuisine si nécessaire et très bien situé. Compter 10 petites minutes de marches pour 2 stations de métro, 20 minutes de la gare de saint pancras et 30 minutes de piccadilly !! Supérette à proximité et un aldi sans compter Camden a 15 minutes à pieds pour les pubs et autres chaînes de restaurations rapides ou autres..

Please host, fix the hot water please
Somehow the address that was provided was not located by GPS even though I searched on three different apps, I had to ask people on the street where the building was. The place is not very clean and the comfort is limited in my opinion. The worst part is the lack of hot water in the bath, even following the instructions on how to have hot water this was not possible. As you can see, there are many other negative reviews about the lack of hot water and the host should take better care of this because it is a recurring complaint. Also the bathroom is completely flooded when you take a shower because there is no shower curtain. I hope the host works on improving the place instead of just saying that guests don't read the instructions.

Pequeño pero cómodo
El alojamiento está bien situado, con supermercados cerca, cerca del metro de Warren Street. Si vienes de fuera de UK, poner en Google “Harrington House” para localizarlo ya que está más cerca de la calle Mackworth, y el número es realmente el del apartamento, no el de la calle, y puede despistar. El alojamiento es pequeño pero muy cómodo para dos personas, una tercera puede usar sofá, aunque el colchón se apoya en el suelo. El radiador del baño no funcionaba, o no conseguimos encenderlo. Pero sin duda, repetiremos alojamiento.

L'environnement est vraiment moyen : quand nous sommes arrivés, l'ascenseur était rempli d'urine. La lumière et le bruit dans le bâtiment ne nous ont pas permis d'y passer de bonnes nuits. Nous sommes arrivés tard et le chauffage était coupé, la 1ère nuit, il faisait 12° dans le studio. Le "canapé-lit" n'était pas du tout adapté à un 3ème couchage, le matelas était à même le sol et très dur. La salle de bain ne dispose pas de rideau ou pare douche donc l'eau stagne au sol. Bref, le logement n'est pas du tout à la hauteur de l'annonce pour le prix de 135€ la nuit environ. Je ne recommande pas.

Honestly so ghetto.
The only good thing I have to say is that it was close to everything and that there was a roof over our head. The shower was the biggest issue. Yes after a day we were able to get hot water however there was no water to be gotten. The water pressure was so low that we had to sponge bathe ourselves for 7 days. The bed was uncomfortable but whatever. The bathroom and kitchen were a literal closet and somehow looked larger in the listing photos. We were too afraid to turn on the heaters for how much dust was collected in them. For some reason no matter what app or map we used the address wasn’t correct to the correct apartment building so when we got there we spent 15 minutes in pouring rain trying to find the place with all our luggage in tow. There was also construction on the road right Infront of the building which listed that it was ongoing from January to April and we weren’t informed of it so we were woken up every morning at 7 with construction sounds. Overall this was probably this biggest regret of our trip was staying here.

My boyfriend and I really like the ambiance. Very nice, high floor, elevator, very good heating. Functional utensils and household appliances. I can't help but say that the shower quickly loses the pressure of hot water, but I didn't call the host because it wasn't a problem for us. In general, we love it and recommend it.

A good deal for London
Small but very adequate. Very near transit. Neighborhood is very walkable with grocery stores, pubs, English Breakfasts, and a variety of Indian restaurants.
