The ocean views can be enjoyed from the living/dining room, the two bedrooms, and the enclosed front porch. Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon beverage and ocean views while people-watching from the rocking chairs outside on the front patio.
If you are planning your next trip to Pacific Grove, then we have the premier location at Lover's Point. The Cottage at Lover's Point is a 100+-year-old Heritage Home, the original exterior is detailed with the charm and history of old Victorian Monterey architecture.
There is no better location in all of Pacific Grove! This home is directly across from Lover's Point recreation area and park which has white sandy beaches, swimmingj, surfing, kayaking, snorkeling/diving, paddle boarding, biking, dining, and a coffee house. For your leisure, we offer complimentary use of boogie boards and beach toys available for your use and enjoyment at NO additional charge.
Enjoy a beautiful 1-mile walk (2,000 steps) from the Cottage along the Coastal Recreation Trail to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. A 1/4 mile north, you can visit downtown Pacific Grove, the Farmer’s Market, shops, restaurants, and galleries. By car, you can view sunsets at Asilomar State Marine Reserve (7 minutes), Pebble Beach (15 minutes), and Carmel-by-the-Sea (17 minutes).
Every room has been extensively updated. FEATURES: The main floor open concept living area has a comfy sectional, a separate reading lounge that functions as a twin bed, a Smart TV, a bay view window seat, and a separate dining area that can also be used for board games, puzzles, or remote work.
Within walking distance, there are wonderful restaurants, or you may prefer to prepare your gourmet recipe in the well-equipped kitchen or BBQ outdoors while taking advantage of alfresco dining on the back patio.
There are two bedrooms: both the King and Queen are located upstairs, and each has a TV. There are also two bathrooms: the upstairs has a tub/shower combo; the lower has an antique clawfoot tub/shower.
PARKING: One single off-street parking space on the property with a rolling gate for security, and additional non-metered free street parking.

My Family of 4 Had a Perfect Stay!
My husband, 2 adult sons and I had a perfect stay. The home is beautiful, clean and did not disappoint in any way. Location is walking distance to the ocean (just as described), dining snd shopping. My favorite thing was sitting on the stoop or rocking chair just outside the door and drinking coffee. The beds were comfortable and we did not want for anything. We would love to return and stay longer next time. The owner, Jack, is great guy and host. Thank you so much!

AMAZING Cottage @ Lovers Point
The cottage at Lovers Point was perfect for our stay in the area. We were a family of 5 from the Midwest wanting to explore the California coast before heading to some National Parks. The cottage was centrally located, fully stocked, clean, and whimsical. The beds were comfortable, the sheets were soft and the property manager very responsive. We highly recommend!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean, comfortable (especially the beds!!!), and conveniently located. We greatly appreciated that a pack n play was provided for our infant daughter.If we ever make it back to the area (which I really hope we do!) we would love to stay here again!

Valentines at Lovers Point
We loved our stay! The place is beautiful. Very clean and well cared for. Decorated really nice. Kitchen and bathrooms were new. We could just walk to restaurants and down to the point. Perfect location. Jack communicated with us about some repairs to one bathroom. He kept us informed and offered to give us a refund if we decided to change our mind. It all worked out and the bathroom was beautiful. We will definitely return.

Lovely Little Blue House
My family of four enjoyed a relaxing 3-night fall getaway in Pacific Grove. We loved our stay at the Blue House, which is quaint, well maintained, beautifully furnished, and perfectly situated near the beach and downtown shops. The house is cute, clean and comfortable, with two bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The plantation shutters made it easy to enjoy great natural light and ocean views during the day and then have privacy at night. The Scandinavian-style decor is really lovely. It was the perfect retreat after an afternoon of hiking along the coast, exploring tidepools, visiting the lighthouse, or shopping and dining nearby. We'd definitely stay here again.

The perfect house in the perfect location!
I can’t say enough positive things about this charming century home. What a fantastic location. You can see the ocean from the house. It’s so charming inside and spotless. Shockingly close to Lover’s Point beach
The owner Jack was very responsive and the property was in the ideal location. Perfect amenities for our family trip to Monterey. The coastal trail is only a few footsteps out the door and meanders down to the Monterey Aquarium. I plan to take my family back here again.

You’ll Wish You Lived Here 💕
We had an amazing stay at Jack’s Cottage! We were married at the lighthouse and had our reception at Fandango’s. Staying here completed the trifecta! Jack was as warm and welcoming as the cottage, very responsive and helpful. Beautifully decorated and all the amenities you’ll ever need. If you’re lucky enough to visit Pacific Grove, I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else to stay! ☺️

Cannot ask for more to be steps away from Lover's Pointe Beach. We walked to local restaurants for breakfast and after, we walked off our breakfast on the path by the beach. Fantastic Lover's Point House
My husband and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful, quaint house in Pacific Grove. The location was perfect, and we enjoyed being so close to the beach area. The homeowner, Jack, was so easy to call or email about renting his house. He sends detailed emails/texts, and has a binder in his house filled with information and things to do. I highly recommend renting this house in Pacific Grove. We hope to be back in the near future!

Fabulous Pacific Grove, Monterey Sanctuary!
We are blown away by the location and the amenities for this incredible Vacation Rental. We had fantastic communication with the host and everything was actually even more spectacular than the photos, description and reviews! This amazing retreat is steps away from a lovely beach where you can rent kayak’s and learn to snorkel and scuba dive. There were two fantastic restaurants right across the street as well and this is also within a 10 minute Drive to Cannery Row, Monterey Bay Aquarium and the famous Monterey Bay wharf. We are so grateful to have stayed here this past weekend for our 1st annual Gibson Family Vacation with 3 generations! Parking was easy and it was lovely to sit on the front porch And watch the ocean and people pass by. Much gratitude for a much deserved weekend away for our family! Thank you so much! We will be back!

A Fairytale Property
My husband and I stayed here for several days in September just to rest and enjoy the town. This home was one of the most special homes we have ever stayed in! We have rented close to 200 properties over the past three decades. This property was so charming; I could imagine myself here back in the early days of the west coast. It had beautiful water views and you can sit in the rocking chairs in front of the home and chat with people as they walked by. Everyone we met was lovely and friendly! Oh, yes, and the house was immaculately clean. And beautifully decorated with super comfortable beds and linens. Overall, a truly wonderful property to relax in and enjoy the charm of beautiful Pacific Grove!

This home is an ideal beach house. It is literally 100 yards from the lagoon and is the closest home to Lover's point. It has views of the Monterey Bay from the living areas and both bedrooms. One can sit on the front porch, sip coffee in the morning and wine in the afternoon and watch the tour buses go by.
