Virbo ad indicates the unit sleeps up to 10. It only has one bed that provides sleeping for only two. No additional bedding is provided. Sleeping for most of the rest would be on the floor or a recliner. Guests would need to bring their own bedding or sleeping bags. The washer in the ad was not connected nor was the dishwasher. We were not able to wash the sheet upon leaving. There was a broom but no dust pan
Missed the email, day before reservation, stating plumbing issues and would need to cancel reservation. My bad, thought it was door code. The title was "Your Reservation Oct 7 through Oct 8, VRBO ########". Did not realize it was the first cancellation. Shame on me. I go back and see that Abby F writes, 1.5 months earlier, her horrible experience with the HOST, identical plumbing issues. Apparantly the HOST is not following VRBO policy of keeping VRBO appraised of the condition of the property. HOST kept the property listed as available. Even now, as I write this the property is listed as available. Renter's beware! Shame on the HOST!!!!
I booked this property on July 26 for a stay on the night of August 4. I received no communication from the property manager at the time of booking. I assumed they would reach out closer to the check-in date. When I still hadn't heard anything by August 4, I messaged them to ask about the check-in process. They responded by cancelling my reservation with a little over two hours to go before my check-in time. They told me the property had plumbing issues and couldn't be rented. Immediately prior to them cancelling, I saw that they still had the property listed as available to rent throughout the whole month of August. What would have happened if I hadn't reached out? I can't believe I received so little advance notice and that I had to be the one to initiate contact. I was left scrambling to find a place to stay and ended up making a ludicrously expensive same-day booking at a place over 45 minutes away, since all other Kamas lodging was unavailable. I would not recommend this property to anyone as the hosts are uncommunicative.
