Great location/cute decor
We arrived to Seattle on one of the hottest days of the year. The directions to the property were not clear and it was hard to locate. The ad says there is Air Conditioning. It wasn't until we got the email the day before that it stated they do not have Air Conditioning. I was told that most places in Seattle do not have AC. I thought the box fan and an open window would help, but there is a huge tree blocking the one window so it was hot. There were two of us in our 50's walking up and down multiple flights of stairs to find out way in with 50lb suitcases. It was not fun. Once I got in, the Elevator was not working. We were on the 3rd floor. I had to get the key, go back out and back up the huge flight of stairs to the rooftop to let my husband in. We then had to drag our suitcases down the stairs from the roof to the 3rd floor. When I called the owner to ask how else to get in without an elevator, he suggested I call an Uber to get to the other side of the building. The apartment is decorated nicely and in a great location for the price. I will say the cleaning company does not do a great job. I had to clean the countertops in the kitchen. They had obviously not been cleaned in some time. There was a dirty towel laying in the bottom of the closet and no washcloths. The refrigerator doesn't have an ice maker. There needs to be additional lighting throughout, but especially in the bathroom. If they don't want to add lights then add a mirror with lights. It was very dark.
