We loved our stay here! So close to beautiful beaches and a mountain hike. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. The hosts are a sweet family and especially accommodating!
The place was small but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was air condition which was great. The hosts were friendly and very easy to reach if needed. The place was in a good location. Not far from some good beaches and the polynesian cultural center and lots of good affordable places to eat near by Brenda Lee and Dave
The property was in a very pretty spot in Laie with the views of the mountains and the beach a short walk away. The inside was very clean and quiet and super cozy. The host was super helpful with communication and advice for staying in Hawaii. Definitely recommend!
The property was the perfect place for our family of 4 to stay during our week long vacation in Oahu.
The hostess of the property was SUPER friendly and helped us plan out our trip with plenty of suggestions for stage best places to explore on the island.
Our kids loved the cute yard and garden area as well as the vast amount of chickens that roam the area!
We would definitely stay here again if we make a trip back to Oahu!
It was so fun to stay here. It's close to the beach and beautiful hikes. The neighborhood is safe and friendly not to mention beautiful. The owners were very helpful if we had questions and to accommodated us when our plans changed. Perfect for a couple of people.
Loved staying here for a few nights! Great communication with the owner and great location! I would definitely stay here again! It is a little small so three people is def the max amount of people before you can’t walk around! Haha other than that I was fine and I loved it!
This was a beautiful simple studio located in a calm neighborhood with mountains behind. I felt safe during my stay and I appreciated how kind my host was .I definitely recommend this place and hope when I return to the island I can stay here again!
Our room was just as we expected. This is a very quiet neighbourhood nestled at the base of the mountains but walking distance from the beaches. It was more than adequate for 2 people who only need to cook and sleep at their accommodation The fridge was full size with one cooking plate. We would come again

Property was more of a beach cabin. Microwave, hot plate, fridge. The kitchen sink also doubled as the bathroom sink. My daughter and I shared the room using an easy to use blow up bed plus the full bed. The double blow up took most of the rest of the room blocking the door. A single blow up would be much better. Host was great. Really liked the shower and bath which were very clean.
Thisa little casita is perfect if you want to stay near the beach and plan to be out and about most of the time. It has the basic essentials: bed, toilet, shower, sink, refrigerator. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood close to hiking and a walk away from the beach. If you plan to spend time relaxing or cooking at this place, there isn’t much room for that but the bed was comfy enough for lounging. There is also a nice outdoor swing in the yard. We also appreciated the beach chairs available for use and took them out on our daily adventures!
Small studio, the second bed was a air mattress not mention in the description.
You can heard everything from the main house

If you want to be on the beautiful North Shore, then this is the place for you. It is quiet, incredibly beautiful, beach at the end of the street, close to several different styles of dining options and close to other popular spots.
It is only an hours drive into Honolulu (depending on traffic) along the most beautiful scenery you will find on the island.
The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything you would want. Complete with air conditioning and a fan, full size fridge was a bonus.
Communication with the host was excellent and I loved the door entry - digital so I didn't have to carry keys or cards.
This will become my go to place to stay now (I come at least once a year).
Can't recommend this accommodation highly enough.
This studio apartment had everything listed, but it seemed a bit worn. Everything worked. The air conditioner unit sits on the floor in front of the closet, limiting access a bit. There were extra pillows, but no pillow cases for them. The smoke detector was missing.
We enjoyed our stay at this properly. It is located in a peaceful North Shore neighborhood and is within walking distance to a few beaches. We found many local eateries, including the Fumi's shrimp shack, Pounders, and a malasada food truck, within a few miles from the property. The property itself had all the basic essentials we needed (towels, soap, microwave, fridge, clean linens, etc.). It also had a storage box in the back that housed two beach chairs, an umbrella, and some snorkeling equipment. When we opened the windows at night, we experienced constant ocean breeze, which was very refreshing. Communication with the property owner was great--the owner was very responsive when we had questions. They also provided a lot of useful information leading up to our stay there. If you are looking for a economical, peaceful, and down-to-earth place to stay in North Shore, this is a good choice.
A quaint beach rental with a small room. I appreciated the comfy bed and small touches like chocolates at the bedside and cute beach decor. I can't vouch for the pillows as I brought my own. Portable air conditioner, free parking and the ability to do a load of laundry were a big plus. They also have a full size refrigerator, microwave, hot plate and dishes. Very close to the coastline and only a few miles away from the BYUH campus and Polynesian cultural center. There otherwise aren't very many hotel options in this area (Marriott was charging $135 more per night). There is a small flight of stairs up to the room, so you may want to take this into consideration of you are handicapped. Sweet family and Alika was always accommodating.
Didn’t realize when booking that the property is a small room attached to the host’s home. Once we checked in and I went into the bathroom, quickly discovered it was never thoroughly cleaned. Found multiple children’s bathing suits hanging on the inside of the shower. The host’s children were constantly running around, banging on the walls/floors. Sounded like they were in the same room with us. We needed to do a loud or laundry but had to wait for the host to finish their load, which they just left in the washer and dry for multiple days. Had to ask one of the children if they could remove it. Other than those issues, wasn’t that bad, just not the quiet get away the wife and so wanted. It was a good location, the extra towels and beach chairs came in handy. So there was that.
This property is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. It is located close to Laie where there is shopping. The room is clean, except for the inner shower curtain which had lots of mold and mildew on it. I explained this problem to the owner. I lived in Hawaii for a few years, and I understand the mold and mildew problem. I just was a bit put off with the the yucky shower curtain. The bed was comfortable and the fridge was very clean. One other problem was the noise of the people whose residence is connected to our room. I wasn't terribly bad, but I was not expecting it. All in all it was a good stay with a couple of problems that could not merit five stars.
I was on the island a few days early for a conference that was in Honolulu, so i wanted to stay somewhere different for the first part of my trip. We arrived after dark and had some trouble locating the house. We were able to call the owner and he helped us find it no problem! The space was cozy and had everything we needed. While not overly close to Honolulu, we weren't looking for that. We did a bunch of sightseeing/ tourist things on the north shore of the island from this house and there was definitely plenty to see here. The house is within walking distance of a beach, and an easy drive to the PCC, groceries (full size fridge, coffee pot, water kettle, cooktop, and microwave provided), and numerous other beaches along Oahu's north shore (turtle bay, sharks cove, numerous surfing beaches, etc within a half hour). We enjoyed the location, even though it was much more residential of a setting than we're used to. We would definitely stay again if we're ever back on Oahu.
This was my first time using a Vrbo, so I was a bit apprehensive at first. But, after figuring out what I was doing, it was super easy and our hosts were quick to reply to our questions and help us out.
Neither my husband or I like big cities and crowds, so we looked for a quiet place as far away from Honolulu/Waikiki as we could in the less crowded country setting. It didn't have a "touristy" vibe to it, which was absolutely PERFECT!
Close to the Polynesian Cultural Center, Food Trucks, Pounders Restaurant, Beaches, North Shore.
The unit was clean and had everything we needed. It is a small room but was a perfect size for two people. We didn't use the hot plate, just microwave. Having a full-sized refrigerator and the use of a washer & dryer was ideal.
If you like quite places and don't want a crowded or fancy resort type place to stay, this is perfect for your needs!
I was very nervous about booking here because there weren't any reviews. I took the plunge and I'm so glad i did! It was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for me needs! I was traveling alone and really just needed a clean and comfortable place to rest. It was immaculately clean! The bed was so comfortable with some kind of special mattress and quality pillows! I was greatful for the AC and fans, both with remotes! The bathroom was great, clean and functioning! I was thrilled to have a refrigerator and microwave.
Alika was a perfect host. Easy to communicate with and very helpful when i didn’t know how to use the special lock when i arrived.
The view of the mountains behind were gorgeous and the location was so convenient for me, just a couple miles from the Polynesian Cultural Center and University. Beaches are all along the Kam Hwy just ¼ mile up the road! I love this place and really hope to come back next time I'm visiting the North Shore and Laie! Perfect for singles or a couple!
