Amazing and as Advertised

Such a great location and property for our 3 families. Off the beaten path on a quiet corner of the lake, we spent lots of time swimming, paddling, and relaxing. The Maine house easily accommodated us for meals, games, and hanging out. The cabins were great to spread out at night. We look forward to a repeat stay!

Perfect family gathering spot

A truly spectacular property, plenty of space from multiple families to be able to spread out and allow for children to be napping, while others were playing in a separate Cabin. Close enough for an easy paddle to the junk of Pork, while still in a quiet area of the cove, to be able to listen to the loons swimming by all week. check-in was very easy and the hosts were readily available if we needed anything.

What an awesome place.

We celebrated my husbands 60th birthday with 3 families and had plenty of space. The rooms were comfortable and loads of space to get together. We also appreciated little things like baby gates - with 2 2 year olds it was a godsend. We would love to come back!

Great Getaway!

This is a great place to stay to get away from it all! We loved the houses and the hosts have thought of everything! We had two families of four stay and had plenty of room in the Maine house with the occasional use of the other two houses. The fire pits on the deck and by the lake were great! We’d love to stay here again if we visit Acadia.

Family Time

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Spent most of the time on the main house deck eating, hanging out, and playing cribbage. The family enjoyed swimming in the pond and the use of the kayaks. We also enjoyed the main fire pit. Overall it was a great stay and would do it again.

Family Birthday Event

The house and surroundings were fabulous! The family gathered to celebrate a big birthday and no one wanted to leave. Everyone (14 of us) had the best time. That is saying a lot with ages ranging from 6 to 60. Plenty of things to do to keep everyone occupied. The erratics were especially fun to swim and kayak around.

Family Reunion

Property was fabulous, location absolutely amazing, even though it’s a little off the beaten track, views over the serene lake, sitting on the deck many early morning's listening to the beautiful haunting sounds of the loons. The children had the most fun exploring the grounds looking for frogs etc as well as exciting trips out on the canoes. A truly magical holiday. We Will Be Back !!!

Great stay!

Our group had three families with kids ranging from 9-16. There were plenty of things to do around the house. They enjoyed fishing, swimming, and kayaking. The Birds Nest is a great retreat for a couple. The Bears Den is a nice addition. The house worked perfectly as our home base. It does take about twenty minutes to drive the last five miles. We enjoyed being secluded but plan ahead with groceries. We cooked our own breakfast and many meals. Roasting marshmallows was a favorite treat! There are plenty of life jackets in all sizes and games to play. Rent this house! You won’t regret it!
