BEACH ACCESS
Two public access points, just a short walk from the home.
A newly built public parking area is located conveniently between these two beach accesses on Eastern Lake Road. It has ample parking including a bike rack.
1. Eastern Lake Beach Access is on the west side of Eastern Lake where the outfall meets the beach at the intersection of South Gulf Drive and Eastern Lake Road, about 1/4 mile south of Scenic 30A. Eastern Lake is one of our rare coastal dune lakes in SoWal, which periodically opens to exchange water with the gulf! Access to the beach using this entrance requires wading through the lake.
2. Ramsgate Beach Access is a simple walkover with stairs near the end of Eastern Lake Road behind Summer's Edge neighborhood beside Ramsgate townhomes.
ABOUT THE AREA
Seagrove Beach is a charming coastal community that is on 30A, nestled between Seaside and Watersound. Seaplane Cottage is located within a short walk to a private community pool and two access points to the beautiful, Emerald Coast white-sand beaches. One beach access directly to the beach and one to Eastern Lake, a coastal dune lake that flows right into the gulf- a phenomena that is found in one of 4 places in the World! Port Washington State Forest featuring 15,000 acres that is filled with off-road bicycling and hiking, is also accessed along 30A. You'll find restaurants and shops within walking distance, and a quick bike ride will land you in Seaside, a well-known 30A spot with farmers' markets, shops, restaurants and local food trucks!
Take a quick bike ride east in the opposite direction and you can find yourself at the Big Chill, a popular outdoor space filled with shops, outdoor games and a big screen TV to watch sporting events and movies. Alys and Rosemary Beaches are just a bit further!
HOUSE RULES
Check-In: After 4PM, Check-Out: Before 10AM
Must be 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian that is staying on premises.
No Smoking: Smoking/vaping is strictly prohibited including back screened-in patio.
No parties or events
Up to 2 dogs allowed. Pet fee of $150 per dog applies. Host must be notified of pet prior to arrival.
During busier times and due to limited infrastructure, internet connectivity may be affected. No refunds will be given for connection issues, no wifi, or slow wifi.
The primary guest is required to sign the Kismet Properties Rental Agreement, as well as provide a valid ID that matches with the name of the person that made the reservation.
CANCELATION POLICY
Guest receives 100% (less $250.00 cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 60 days before arrival; Guest receives 50% (less $250.00 cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival; No refunds within 30 days of arrival.
Accidental Damage Protection
Your Admin Fee includes an accidental damage protection plan. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible for paying if there is accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2500. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, and/or damage caused by pets when allowed. All guests will also be required to provide a credit card for damages that exceed the protection limit or are not protected by the plan.
The primary Guest is required to sign the Kismet Properties Renter's Agreement and upload a copy of their ID.
