This lake house is located just off the highway, neighbors are on one side only, and it is within walking distance (0.5 miles) from a restaurant! In the summer months, enjoy the private dock or lounge on the deck equipped with patio furniture. Also, it is located right next to a boat ramp for easy boat or jet ski access to the lake and enough parking space for your pickup and trailer.

This home offers plenty of privacy and is ideal for a family or group of friends looking for a fun, relaxing getaway!

The Space:

LIVING ROOM: Pull out sofa sleeper with Queen sized mattress and lounge chair. Television with Amazon Firestick available for you to log into your own favorite streaming apps.

KITCHEN: fully furnished with pots/pans, utensils, and everything you need to enjoy home cooked meals. Full sized fridge and dining room table with four chairs. Start your morning with a cup coffee with our Keurig and choose from the variety of options at our coffee bar.

BEDROOM 1: Queen sized bed and accessible closet

BEDROOM 2: Twin sized bunk beds and accessible closet

PATIO: Our favorite place! Spacious area equipped with comfy patio furniture perfect for relaxing as you overlook the water and listen to the peaceful waves. Turn on the patio lights for an even more relaxing atmosphere. A grill is also available during summer months.

OUTSIDE: Enjoy the private dock with built in chairs and easy access to the water. There is also a boat ramp for easy boat and jet ski access to the lake and plenty of parking spaces for your pickup and trailer.

This home is situated on a private driveway with neighbors on one side and a tree grove on the other giving you plenty of privacy for relaxation!

Due to the close proximity to water, please use caution with young children who have not acquired the ability to swim.

***If you are traveling with a larger group or another family, ask me about renting the additional loft above the garage. The loft has two queen beds, a futon, window A/C, smart TV, accessible closet, and an additional bathroom with a shower.***

A Too Short Visit
We had a very comfortable stay. Everything worked well. The bed gave us the most comfortable night. It was a perfect location for us. It was very quiet and private. The view of the lake from the deck was so very beautiful and inviting. A great place for that first cup of coffee. We would certainly enjoy another stay,

Overpriced for the quality
This 2-bedroom quaint home was overpriced for the quality and location. It had ample sleeping for four if needed, so the two of us had plenty of space. The owner was very responsive to messages, which we appreciated. The coded entry was very easy. The downsides: There was a pervasive mildew smell in the house which the owner tried to mitigate with a life-size air cleaner in the living room. The patio furniture was filthy under the drop cloth coverings. Many finishes were not attended to (e.g. peeled paint in the bathroom and hallway that needs to be repainted, windows were dirty, no screen on the patio door so flies flooded in when using this door to go outside). I guess many think this is 'charming' for a lake cabin, but it didn't compare with other places for the price and the mildew triggered my allergies for the weekend.

The Best Lake House!
You know you're at the lake! Just steps from the water and dock. Private views and location. Great deck and parking. The lake house is decorated as it should be with personal touches of decor and with a lake house feel. Also the furnishings and everything you need is ready for you. The neighborhood is the best for walks. We really enjoyed our time!

Loved staying at this little place. Loved waking up to the water right outside. Lisa is a great host. The coffee bar was a nice touch which my family enjoyed. We will be staying here again for sure.

Great cabin right on Lake Madison! Everything from checking in to the cleanness was perfect! The deck with the new and very comfortable patio furniture, with the string lighting overhead made for perfect evenings enjoying the lake! Lisa, the owner did everything possible the make the stay very enjoyable. Looking forward to a return trip!

My family had such a great time staying at this location. It was perfect to unwind and make fun memories with our kids. Our kids loved swimming right off the dock every day. The owner was so kind and always answered my questions. Will definitely go back and highly recommend to others!
