Wonderful spot!! Very inviting and private with fantastic views. Little Barn well equipped and thanks FYL for the firewood supply. With snow on the ground to make it perfect, our holiday stay could not have been better!!
Beautiful and well-maintained place in a magical setting. Designed to be photogenic and, more importantly, to be enjoyed. Baby Barn is inviting and cozy, somehow feeling both spacious and intimate. Learning about the architect and how it was built add to its considerable charm. Highly recommend!
Wonderful architect designed cabin/barn. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Awesome views in the big yard! Perfect for sledding!! Will definitely stay here again.
Stunning views, extremely quiet, extremely cozy and warm cabin. All the beds in the main bedrooms are in good condition. The entire time we were there we kept talking about how couldn’t wait to plan a trip back!
We had a great time staying at the Baby Barn. It was perfect for our group - 5 adults and 3 young kids. The decor really sets the appropriate VT vibe, and the views are absolutely stunning. It was easy to find and felt very private. I loved being able to open the doors in the bedrooms and smell the morning mountain air while getting ready for my day.
The Baby Barn was a wonderful stay for me and my family. It was an extraordinarily unique home with no shortage of attention to detail, all with an idyllic backdrop of the majestic Vermont mountain side. The fireplace was warming and welcoming, and the kitchen was a cozy place to create a meal to remember in.
There are so many wonderful things about this property. From the moment you arrive, you realize that every aspect was thoughtfully, purposefully, and intentionally designed. The result is a piece of paradise in South Londonderry, Vermont. Truly, a home away from home.
We had the most wonderful stay at Baby Barn. It was everything we’d hoped for our big birthday celebrations, from the architecture, the stunning views and cosy ambience. All of it, truly exceptional! It was comfortable, warm, and we also really appreciated the provision of firewood making life much easier not having to lug any from home. We will definitely be back!
Located in a woodland setting right next to Magic Mountain yet a pretty drive to Manchester and surrounding towns. Tranquil and rustic. Plenty of roomy bedrooms and family room. We had a wonderful time!
We have been coming to the Baby Barn for years. It is a luxurious retreat in so many ways and provides you with the perfect cozy space to disconnect and relax. The living room is cozy and the kitchen, well equipped. The bedrooms and loft are equally cozy with lots of extra pillows and blankets, should you need them. You truly feel like you've been transported to another place. It's incredibly special and we can't wait to go back.

what a great place!
the baby barn was exactly what you want going up to vermont for some R and R and snowboarding....it was rustic but had all the amenities you'd want....nice clean rooms/beds....spotless bathrooms...a great kitchen...and a huge fireplace in a nice room with lots of windows. we're definitely going back to the baby barn.
This place creates a mood. And for a cozy birthday celebration of friends chatting around a fireplace and gathering for a birthday dinner this space held us in such warmth and comfort. Charming, serene, and full of character. Can’t wait to go back.
Had a lovely stay with a group of friends over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Well-equipped kitchen. Very cozy living room where we kept a fire burning all weekend long. Beautiful light through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Gorgeous views of the mountains and ski slopes. Peter was super responsive and great to work with during our stay!

great location not so great beds
The property is in a beautiful setting. The house has old dusty taxidermy in it. In general a dusty home which is tough on allergies. We did however enjoy our stay and it was so close to a wedding that we attended at Magic Mountain.
The Little Barn was unique and truly gave us the Vermont Vibe. We had never been to Vermont and were there for a family wedding. Our accommodations were perfect for what we required. The distance to the venue and everything we wanted to be near was just right !! We were very relaxed and comfortable in the living room and sitting on the back porch admiring the peace and quiet and the beauty !! Thank you !
Just want to say that if you ever find yourself in a natural disaster, try and find people as amazing as the owner and caretaker of the Baby Barn. They could not have been kinder or more helpful when we found ourselves stranded by the floods in Vt this week. The accommodations were charming, the view spectacular, and the esprit de corp of the locals was exceptional.
This is a quintessential Vermont property! Restored barn with lovely fireplaces, comfortable beds, an INCREDIBLE master shower, and enough space for a family! We had the most incredible time in front of the family room fireplace each morning and evening. Cooked our Thanksgiving feast and everything was available that we needed, even a potato peeler : ) So many books, magazines, puzzles, etc, we didn't even need to bring our own. Londonderry market and liquor store just a 5 mi drive away, 20 mins to Manchester and the shops/outlets.
We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Peter for the lovely accommodations, it was a true GEM!
The home, with its picturesque views, peaceful surroundings, and warm rustic charm does not disappoint! We walked into the home and were immediately excited for our stay. The floor to ceiling stone fireplace, surrounded by the wall of windows, created a perfect backdrop to our Christmas celebration.
We unfortunately had our time cut short, due to a storm that affected most of the country, and left many in the area without power. The host, Peter, his caretakers, and neighbors, could not have been more helpful, communicative, and down right neighborly.
While we weren’t able to enjoy this beautiful home the entire trip, we have some great memories and a really fun story.
Don’t hesitate to book this home to make your own Vermont memories!

Unique Experience
This place is a gem. Unique! Fun! Cozy!
My one criticism is the condition of the furniture. The sofa and matching chair in the living space were in terrible condition. Additionally, some of the beds/mattresses seemed to be on their last leg.
This place was clean and tidy. (Clean floors, no dust, sinks and bathrooms very clean, bedding was in decent condition, towels appeared to be newer.) I just couldn't help but think the place felt dirty because the couch was in such bad condition. It is a gem and I am hoping the owner will upgrade the furniture to ensure positive experiences for future guests.

Barn
Upon arriving at the house, the outside was nothing like the picture that we questioned if we were actually at the correct house. Upon entering and looking around the whole house it was one of the most filthy we have ever stayed at through VRBO. We always look at all the reviews prior to booking, and we’re very disappointed that the majority of the reviews did not indicate that the house was not clean. In some areas of the house it is so dark that you wouldn’t even know if it was clean or not.
The lower level was very cold, while the main floor would be very hot. They do provide a movable radiator in the master bedroom, which does work very well although they should add one to the second bedroom in the lower level. They should also replace the pots and pans in the kitchen as everything does stick to them. The Wi-Fi goes in and out and is not strong either.
On a positive note, the fireplace was amazing and the beds were pretty comfortable. If you are stickler for cleanliness, we would not recommend staying here.
We loved our stay at the Baby Barn and highly recommended it. My wife and I like to find unique rentals around New England, and this one is amazing. The great room with floor to ceiling windows is the show stopper. We loved making breakfast and dinner in the kitchen. The master suite downstairs was comfortable with beautiful views. Overall the property is so special and peaceful. We look forward to coming back!
