Great place for a small group.

A couple of friends and I stayed here while skiing/snowboarding at Lutsen for a couple days. It was a great spot and provided a comfortable spot for us when not on the mountain.

Great place to stay!

This cabin in the woods has everything you need and felt very spacious for us. It was very tidy upon arrival. It has a great kitchen with a large kitchen island with bar stools where we had our meals. We enjoyed the fire ring in the yard, and the porch, and the cute little bird feeder on the window where a black capped chickadee was paying us many visits. It's a 20 min drive to Lutsen Mt where we downhill skied. We had fantastic weather, snowed 8 inches, then sunny and warm days for great skiing. Recommend this cabin.

It was an absolutely amazing stay at the cabin! Really wish we could have enjoyed a fire but after dealing with the skeeters all day hiking we didn’t wanna deal with them around a fire! The property was great, it was clean, and it was nice proximity to all the state parks.

We had a nice stay. No air conditioning, and it got pretty hot. Fans were provided in the house though so that was great. Beautiful area. All necessities provided at the house, good central location.

This house is in a great location for those adventuring on the north shore as it is in the middle of all the parks and attractions. The place was clean and as described. No AC which we knew going into the weekend, fans provided. We would stay again.

Anniversary get away

My husband and I stayed here for four days and four nights. We really like the place it was clean, cute and spacious no surprises. It also had access to many trailheads of the Superior Hiking Trail, which we were interested in running. I would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent SHT Access

We traveled to the North Shore area to spend some quality time on the Superior Hiking Trail (SHT) and this made an excellent home base for all of our trail runs over the course of 4 days. The house is clean, comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked with quality utensils/pots/pans. I highly recommend for 3-4 travelers who are looking to have a comfortable home base from several great trailheads.

Stay while volunteering on SHT

Central location close to grocery store, cafes and state parks. While there is no view of Lake Superior, the property is private & quiet with a large deck and firepit. Inside is clean and spacious with well stocked kitchen. (Bring salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, etc as well as shampoo as these are not supplied).

Was not happy about having to take my recycle with me. SundaysTofte mid station is not open. Driving up to Lutsen to drop off is less than ideal. Other than that great stay!! 🙂

Cascade Rental in Tofte

I think the property was very nice, clean and convenient. I was extremely frustrated with the combo lock on the door. I COULD NOT GET IN. Then had to drive to office to see who could get it open. Then I had a call that I had to get back to the cities the next day so I did NOT STAY MY SECOND NIGHT. I will never rent thru Cascade Rentals again. MY HUGE MISTAKE

Went up to ride jackpot mountain bike trail

The cabin and property were great and clean. The tap water was surprisingly outstanding (no iron taste, actually tasted great). We used this as a base for biking, and weren't looking for a cabin in the wilderness experience. Had a lot of fun. Saw a deer in the yard one day down by the fire pit, and birds including humming birds. Great gas kitchen stove too. Thanks to the owners/managers for this gem.

Great choice!

They had everything we'd want in a place besides AC, which we knew going into it. Honestly, we didn't need it for our stay, though. I brought a fan and barely used it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars on location is that I scraped my car bottom every time I came in or exited the location regardless of the angle of approach. My clearance isn't, great, though, so if you have decent clearance, I'm sure you'd be fine.
