Met our needs

Owner was flexible with our pet, space was clean and safe. In a strange location, not in a neighborhood. Not the end of the world but was just unusual. Master bed was great, second bed not so much. Only one bathroom in master bed would make it hard for two couples or a large family. But it was updated and pretty.

The apartment is spacious and clean. Has everything you need. Is in a commercial business setting but was pretty quiet 24/7. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Very clean updated home.

GPS took us right to the location. My friends had been there since morning, they were preparing to make a nice dinner for us, but the water was off. I called the landlord, and he said that they were working on it. It was about ten p m before the water was back on. I requested some financial compensation, since we had to all drive to a gas station a mile away to use the restroom. They had to do that a few times during the day. He said he would mull it around about compensation and get back to me in the morning. I didnt hear back from him in regards to that. Besides that kerfluffle, the landlord was very responsive to any and all questions we had. There was no broom and we requested one, and there was on our doorstep the next day. It was a very comfortable place to stay as a couple, however the layout was not conducive of any more adults then a couple. The bathroom is located in the bedroom and the bunkbeds are in the TV room so if someone was in there it would be difficult to stay up . Overall we enjoyed our visit at 1174 topside rd.

Clean and modern, but…

On the plus side, the condo was very clean and looked to have been finished recently, as it had a very modern look to it. Overall it was a nice place to stay. However, there were a few issues. My biggest concern is the layout. The “living room” area is in the same room as the second bedroom. So, when the person in that bedroom goes to bed, you no longer have access to the living room. This is fine if you only have 2 people, but if it’s a family with kids, that could be a problem. Some minor things that could be fixed - the shower leaks. More accurately, it sprays off to the side where the shower head is connected to the feed line. Seems like an easy fix with just some plumbers tape and a wrench. Also, there was a problem with either the kitchen outlets or the coffee maker. We tried three different kitchen outlets for the coffee maker and two of the three worked, but not all the time. Outlet 1 wouldn’t work. Switched to outlet 2, still wouldn’t work. Back to outlet 1 and it worked for 2 cups of coffee, then it wouldn’t work again. Tried the next day on 1 & 2, no power, tried outlet 3 and it worked for 2 cups, then no power again. Finally, the mattressess were VERY FIRM. This is a personal preference, I know, but for me and my wife and daughter, they were way too hard. I did not get a good nights sleep any of the 3 nights we were there.

i really like the place - the location is odd. I think they should add photos of the location so people wont have that "What" moment. the interior is perfect for a week stay. i give the place a 4 out of 5

Musty Basement

The place was spacious and cute.. but I didn't know "tucked away in commercial business area" meant we'd be staying in the musty basement of an abandoned business building with other businesses directly across the parking space. Maybe it's my fault for booking a place that didn't show outdoor space, or using Google street view first..

Just as we remembered!

We stayed here a year ago, and again, it lived up to our standards. We love the location, quiet at night. The size! It is so big! Comfy relaxing area, comfy bed, clean bathroom and amazing kitchen (Has K-Cup machine). Working with Matt is easy and he responds very quickly to any inquiries. Will book again next time we head to TN.

We stayed here while attending a rowing rigatta in Oak Ridge. Very clean and it had everything we needed. Host was very responsive to a question I asked. Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg are only about a hour away.

This is an a beautiful place to stay for two people or more definitely! Kitchen was spectacular bedroom was beautiful along with the bathroom. Everything was perfectly described and check in was very easy. I really appreciate the owners letting me bring my dog.
