SOME IMPORTANT HOUSE RULES
Identity Required once booking cofirmed: The townhouse is in a secure complex and the Body Corporate as well as my insurance require that I have certain information about all guests staying on the property, including a copy of an ID document (e.g. passport)
Number of Guests: You have confirmed a reservation for a specific number of overnight guests. Please honour this number and don’t invite additional guests. Additional guests will result in the immediate cancellation of the reservation, or a penalty fee of R1000 per additional person, per night.
Quiet Hours: Please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm. Enjoy the space but please be respectful of the complex residents. All noise levels must be considerate, especially at night and over weekends, as this is a home in a suburban and complex setting, and we like to keep our neighbours as friends.
No Parties: Guests are not permitted to host parties and events on the property. In the unfortunate event of high noise levels disturbing neighbours, guest/s will be asked to vacate the property immediately. Should it be necessary to engage with the security company, there will be a charge of R2,500 per call-out.
Smoking: To maintain a fresh and healthy environment, this is a non-smoking / non-vaping home. Extra cleaning fees, of R1000, to remove odour, will need to be applied if this request is not respected.
The weather in the Gauteng province is outstanding, with comfortable day time temperatures virtually throughout the year.
Summer is the rainy season, with thunderstorms rather than days of rain - sometimes spectacular electrical storms. The summer evenings can be cool, so have a light jacket or top for sitting outside. Remember to pack sunblock and an umbrella or raincoat.
The winter early mornings and nights can be cold, so warm clothing, pj's, slippers and jackets are necessary.

About the host
Hosted by Jill Hagley: +27 (0)83 947 9683;
We're Jill and Gaivin, a 60-something couple that are passionate about travel, going on adventures, scouring through antique shops and thrift stores and finding the hidden gems of any town we visit. We are both Johannesburg natives and love to call Sandton our home. We live 500 m away from 2 Four Seasons, our listed property, so are close enough to respond to requests, but not on the property, to ensure your privacy.
We bought 2 Four Seasons in 1995 and enjoyed many happy years living in our home, nestled in the heart of the Sandton community. So this is our hood and we know it well!
In 2019 we lovingly updated and transformed it, to create the perfect space for guests.
Now we're so happy to be able to share it with you. We hope you enjoy your time in this special home.
We both love connecting with new people and we're sincerely happy to host you in the vibrant suburb of Sandton. In our travels, we have realised that the place you stay in, while visiting a destination, can make or break your experience. There is no better feeling than contributing to someone’s happy holiday or making that business trip more comfortable, and in doing so, create great memories. We want to be that "insider" that can share our favourite restaurants in the area, the best neighbourhood shops, special places to visit. Our main focus is to make your stay unforgettable! We want our house to be a relaxing oasis, stocked with all the comforts of home, and with those special touches to make your stay memorable.
We can't wait to welcome you to our property. Pack your bags and get ready for a stress-free and wonderful stay at 2 Four Seasons.
We are firm believers of "Wherever you go, go with all your heart." (Confucius)

Why they chose this property
2 Four Seasons is just te kind of place that we would to stay if we were visiting Sandton - no matter the reason. We are relaxed and welcoming - but know to give people their privacy. This is not a hotel, glamp-ground, or a bed and breakfast "business" - no fluff. It is somewhat elegant, but at the same time casual. The heart of Sandton has a pulse of its own. It is where the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and major banks are located and has a thriving business community. It is also a regular suburban area with exceptional shops close by. There is a great park, within walking distance where one can safely exercise and gyms, restaurants and coffee shops around the corner. If you find yourself or a family member staying in Johannesburg for surgery, the Morningside Hospital is 1 km away.
