A wrap-around porch overlooks an expansive yard with lovely gardens, mature shade trees ,as well as, the Shoreby Hill Green & Narragansett Bay. A fenced in backyard includes a convenient, off kitchen deck with gas grill and an outdoor, hot/cold shower for after the beach.
Inside, a spacious, renovated 1st floor, with airy windows showcasing bay views, a gourmet kitchen, a cozy, step down breakfast/sun room, a large dining room & a comfortable living area w/ fireplace.
Spectacular 2nd floor views, 3 BRs with AC. A large MBR w/ bath overlooks the bay. A 2nd bath w/ claw foot tub & shower combo serves the other 2 BRs
The 3rd floor offers 1BR w/ twin beds and AC, a bath with claw foot tub and large TV room with queen bed & AC, spectacular views of the bay.

Peaceful stay

The house was everything we could ask for! A spacious, comfy atmosphere with a very well equipped kitchen that makes it easy to entertain but it is also within walking distance to several terrific restaurants. Owner and property manager are very responsive.

Perfect Home

This home is beautiful. The location is fantastic. You can walk into town for meals and shopping. The porch and the view is heaven. The home is very clean, nicely decorated, lots of space for extended family. 5 minute drive to local beach perfect for swimming. We would definitely come back again!

Jamestown Paradise

The house and location were spectacular! The kitchen had everything you needed to cook and grill big meals. The wrap around porch was hard to leave with the panoramic view of the Newport Bridge, Newport and Jamestown Harbor. The furniture and bedrooms were high quality and comfortable. We hope to return next year !

This is a home. You’ll walk in and feel immediatately welcome and grateful to be on vacation.

The Wassel’s are very organized and have everything prepared to make your stay an easy one. The house is clean and the beds are fresh. The views are stunning. It’s easy to pop down to the bay for a dip or fish off the dock. Bring a sweatshirt because I’m sure you’ll spend every evening on the porch and with the New England breeze you may need it.

Quiet community and great home with terrific views

This was our second stay at this lovely home. It was the perfect home base for walks to the main street, through neighborhoods, to the playground (a hit with the littles) and to the local, calm beaches. Our group represented 3 generations and the house gave us plenty of room to spread out, play games, cook meals, and enjoy the porch and the yard! It is also very convenient to cross the bridge to Newport for sightseeing, restaurants and shopping. Not a single complaint. We would love to return.

Enjoyable and relaxing stay

My family of four, my sister, and my parents spent a week at Summer Breeze to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and in a great location - easy walk to downtown Jamestown and a short drive to Newport. The only thing we would improve upon is the second shower. We knew going in that there were only two showers and the master bath walk-in is fantastic. However, the Jack and Jill tub/shower feels a bit claustrophobic with the wraparound curtain. Otherwise, an A+ experience!

Over The Top Experience!

Our family spent a week in July of 2017 at this amazing home. The property is beautiful; inside and out. The grounds are impeccably landscaped. The interior of the home is warm and welcoming. Exceeded Our Expectations!

Our family of eight, including 2 young children, enjoyed a wonderful week. The views of the harbor and Newport Bridge are exceptional from both inside and from the wrap-around porch. The Master Bedroom Suite is very large and has wall-to-wall windows showcasing the water views. The home is very well maintained and decorated with a mix of country antiques and traditional furnishings. We loved the well equipped kitchen and the beautiful grounds. Great experience all round!

How About Ten Stars?

What a splendid house! The pictures give you a sense of the place; but the actuality is so much more. We gasped with delight when we first arrived. From the wrap-around porch to the five air-conditioned, well - appointed bedrooms to the open flow of the first floor, this house has been designed with ease and relaxation in mind. We were eight -- from Boston, New York CIty, and Portland,Oregon -- all in need of rest and no schedules. We found it all at "Summer Breeze." Special amenities: On the porch, a large and heavy table with benches, ideal for summer dinners. An easy five-minute walk to town. Spectacular views of the harbor and the Newport/Pell Bridge. Complete appointments in the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. We'll be back!

Gorgeous property and gorgeous setting!

Celebrated the 50th anniversary of my parents with 8 family members for the Fourth of July week at this amazing house! We were looking for a place that was centrally located near Newport but in a little quieter location and this home in Jamestown was it. Very well appointed and plenty of space outside to play games or just enjoy the summer days and nights. Walking in to town and driving/catching the ferry to Newport was only a few minutes away. You won't be disappointed with this opportunity to stay in a charming home that was the perfect New England experience for our family.

An Exceptional Vacation Home!

All I can say is that if you think the pictures of this home are gorgeous, you need to see it in person! It is an amazingly, well-kept property. Plenty of space and things to do. We went on a family vacation with small children, small pet and grandparents and it offered the relaxation and quality time we were looking for. Close beaches, small shops, yard to play ball and even just to lounge on the wrap-around porch and enjoy the views!! The owners are gracious to provide more than enough amenities to make it easy for those traveling a distance to stay. We will definitely look into coming back again next year!
