Do not rent this house!
First, this house does not have beach access anywhere nearby. The closest access is the state park which is not within walking distance. The only saving grace was that the house came with a golf cart...or so we thought. When we checked in there was no information on where the beach access was and the golf cart was broken and being held in place by a wooden block to keep it from rolling away and would shut off every time you touched the break. When we called to report the issues the agent would not return our call but would only email. We were told that a golf cart was not guaranteed, although the house is advertised with one and we paid more for this rental because of that fact. We were told we could rent one ourselves and they would pay half. I did spend most of my first vacation day finding one and they did pay for two of the days but we were out of pocket for the rest. I have never had customer service like this from any rental agent. We have rented many homes on 30 A and never had an experience and lack of communication like this. We were completely disappointed with this experience and it should be advertised that a golf cart may not come with this house (not in the fine print of the agreement) and is located very far from the beach access. There are far better areas and rentals on 30 A where the agents are accessible and if the equipment is not working it is quickly replaced.
