Convenient to everything Vermont, Burlington and ski areas. Open concept living, dedicated office & workout space. Great lake views. Walk down the path to the dock for swimming, kayaking or dock your boat. Walk or drive to local beach. House stays cool in the summer and tree coverage allows for comfortable outdoor living. 3 miles to village for all your needs.
The space
Downstairs offers open concept living with hardwood flooring - living room with gas fireplace, dining area, new kitchen with high-end stainless-steel energy efficient appliances, one bedroom with a washer and dryer hidden in a closet, and the bath. Great for one floor living if needed. Upstairs host a large bedroom, dedicated workout and office spaces that open to the downstairs. Large deck with lake views. Short path down to the private dock.

This house is on a well and septic system. The water from the faucet is drinkable, delicious and comes out cold. Due to septic system, please do not throw anything down the toilet other than toilet paper - Please : ) Although the road is amply plowed and sanded during winter months, guest should have a four wheel drive vehicle or good snow tires to navigate the road in the event of a snowstorm.

We had a great time at Jody’s cabin on the lake! It was perfectly well equipped for our needs, she was flexible with check in and check out times, and we loved the gas stove plus easy access to the lake. It was a perfect introduction to Vermont for my in laws and I loved the wintery vibe we got in the woods. I would go back any time of year!

Quiet location

Property was well prepared and clean. Location was quiet and relaxing. House was a little challenging to drive to as my car has a relatively low undercarriage and the dirt road leading to the house has many potholes and some rocks sticking up above the road surface. Host was very responsive and a good communicator.

Lovely piece of Vermont - quiet and peaceful

Thank you guys it was a Close drove on fun roads over to the where I was attending and visiting with old friends in the charlotte shelburne area

Peaceful cabin in the woods

The cabin was in a very quiet neighborhood. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was very well laid out and we had plenty of supplies. The only negatives were that the path down to the lake was not very safe. The stairs were steep and half the time you had to walk on rocks. The dock was not connected to the bank so you could not use the dock, but a nice neighbor let my husband fish off his. The refrigerator drawers were dirty, but otherwise, the home was pretty clean. Communication with the owner was very good.

Heaven on earth

The property was perfect for a family. We sat on the deck for dinner and enjoyed the evening. When we come home for a visit we this home would be our first choice.

Great stay

The property was well maintained and beautiful. Neighbors are close by but it was still quiet and there was a sense of privacy. The public beach was beautiful and the drive there was less than 10 minutes and easy to get to. Jody was a great host and responsive. Would stay there again!

Spacious

Charming lakeside cottage with everything you need. Very clean with comfortable beds. Only drawback (for me) was a steep circular staircase. Great communication with the owner, she replied immediately when I contacted her. Will stay here again.

Anniversary Trip

Property was as advertised. Great location and near grocery store and restaurants. Shelburne was a short drive as was Burlington. Property had everything we needed. We really enjoyed playing golf at Cedar Knoll Golf course.

Incredible lake house!

We had an incredible stay here. The lake that this house is on is beautiful, it is quiet and peaceful and well worth a kayak trip around. The house itself is so nice, it is filled with natural light and is very clean and inviting. The fire place is a nice touch too! We had a great stay here, I highly recommend a visit!
