My friends and I were in town for a conference and needed a place to stay. While the beds were comfortable, everything else was lacking. NO kitchen sink to wash your dishes. Upstairs neighbors shower was leaking into the closet. No joke!! No hot water in the 2nd bathroom. Messy garbage in the backyard. Come on now! Randomn empty appliance boxes in the kitchen. If you're going to ask for 250/night you should put some effort into your place.
Location was great and easy access to what we needed. Pictures were not totally accurate. No sink in the kitchen area. No stove. Had to ask for an electric kettle. Microwave did not work. Why have spices if there is no way to cook/use them. No way to wash cups/plates. Deck off rear bedroom littered with bus pan full of water, water damaged cases of restaurant supplies, etc. Pickup in the driveway literally caused us to have to suck it in to get out. Outlet in rear bathroom didn’t work. Shower we used was great! Beds slept well, comfortable. Knowing the condition, we would book again.

Communication Nightmare + Bare bones Home
Let’s start with the pros:
It’s clean.
Now the cons.
This is the worst communication from a host I have ever experienced. Told him we were arriving at 9:30p and asked if there was anything beyond the door code that I needed to know to check-in. He response “No.” When we arrived we saw a home with all the lights on inside and a ton of shoes on the front porch. Ppl were home and inside. We called the host and he did not pick-up. We were stuck on the sidewalk at 10pm outside until a car pulled up and 5 people got out and a woman told us wait 20-25 minutes so she could clean it. It’s 6 hrs past check in. She then led us down the dark driveway to the back of the house and a door where the unit was. While waiting we noticed the place had no top sheets, one towel per person for 4 days, broken blinds in the bedroom, no soap in the showers. When we asked, the cleaning crew brought travel sized soaps. The back patio is filled with junk and unusable. When I asked the host why he hadn’t had the place cleaned and why he hadn’t told us any of the check-in instructions he said “apologies.” Around 2am the other 2 people arrived while we were asleep. Unknown to us, the cleaners had locked an outside door with a different code that nobody told us. They were locked out for an hr until a man from the house reluctantly let them in. Totally unacceptable. On top of this, the place has a damp mold smell and upstairs neighbors who were moving chairs and yelling at 4am Sunday. AVOID!!!

First time using Vrbo. The apartment was clean and in a nice neighborhood. Only complaint is that the master bathroom outlet was not working. Parking was a little tricky as you need a pass to park at certain times but the host was quick to arrange the pass. I would stay here again if I was in the area.
Well located property. The only reasons I cannot give this property a 5-star rating is the broken dishwasher, missing slats on the sliding door shutters in primary bed room, the absence of soap in the showers and the use of the patio for storage which made it unavailable for sitting outdoors. The property manager was very responsive and aware of these concerns.
We were overall extremely disappointed in our stay and even more disappointed in the lack of accountability from the hosts. For starters we were not provided an entry code for the front entrance. Hot tub and usable deck were listed but the deck was not available and there was no hot tub on the property. When we asked the host about this matter they stated there was a typo, since bringing this "typo" to their attention no changes have been made to the posting. Leading us to believe the misleading description of the amenities is intentional. In addition to this, there were very limited dishes—2 bowls, one sharp knife, 4 mugs, and only a singular mug that works with the espresso machine, one small pan, and one badly scratched pot. This lack of usable kitchen supplies forced us to eat out more often than we intended, adding on to the cost of trip. The trash can was also broken as well as several shutters in the bedroom causing the room to lack privacy and we were unable to sleep in. There were no toilet paper dispensers in either bathroom. Upon entry there were no flat sheets on the beds, the kitchen was dirty, including dirty dishes in the dishwasher. There was no dishwasher detergent, no shampoo, no body wash and no towels for bathroom or kitchen. We would communicate our needs clearly but we were provided either the wrong items, wrong amount, or not responded to.

Clean but spartan
Easy to access; very clean but we had to ask for soap, shampoo and an unused sponge for washing dishes. Kitchen is very minimally appointed.
We went to LA for Spring break with my husband and two sons. The area is nice and safe. I went for a walk while making early work phone calls and it was a nice stroll. The unit is nice and spacious. We slept very comfortable. Wish it would have a lamp in the bedrooms because I like using it to read before I go to sleep. Also, it needs more kitchen utensils even though we did not eat much inside.
Thanks for letting us check in earlier. We had a very early flight and were very tired our first day. Overall, great place. Loved our stay in LA!
Cute apartment, Extremely convenient location we were within fifteen minutes To beverly hills, Santa monica, Hollywood, The apartment was very clean. The owner should provide a little bit more in the area of cups and dishes, But this was really nothing to complain about, If you have a rental car with you, let the owner know and you can get a Permit to park on the street for it, Even at odd hours of the night we were able to find a convenient location to park the car. From previous reviews, I had read the outlawed in the master bathroom did not work. That was still not working while I was there but again. Not a major inconvenience there are multiple other plugs that you could use. Overall it was clean, convenient, and I would rent it again
This property was perfect for our family. The location was excellent and there was plenty of space for us. The owners are very kind and responsive. Would definitely stay here again. I only wish that there were more plates, bowls, and cutlery, but we bought some disposable ones to use.
The property was clean and ready when we arrived. The owners were helpful and communicated promptly with us when needed. We felt safe in the neighborhood and had a good week. It is a multi-unit rental, so some "hotel noise" is to be expected. Hearing footsteps, other doors closing, chairs being moved around and such were not uncommon. All in all it was a good stay.
We arrived the day before Hurricane Hillary hit LA, so we contacted the property owner to see if we could stay longer if the storm gets too bad and he responded right away. We were anxious at the time so we were relieved with his response. The property was bigger than I expected and the rooms were clean. It was a little noisy from the people upstairs though, we could hear all of their footsteps and other noises so it was a little hard to sleep. Other than that, very nice place!

Not bad but....
I booked this space for guests who were visiting us on vacation, and I was quite explicit with the host about this from the beginning, in my first message when I booked the apartment.
I live a few blocks away from the rental location, so I'm pretty familiar with the area.
The house was clean, and it's an excellent choice for a family vacation.
The problem was the lack of cooking items and supplies; There was no way to make tea because there was no electric kettle, the coffee maker didn't have a jar, the garbage disposal didn't work, there was no oven pan, bowls for salads or fruit, a few sauce pans without caps, and it's assumed that if you're renting a place like this and traveling with kids, you need to cook, especially if one of them has celiac.
I asked the host for this a couple of times because my friends don't speak English, but there was a lack of communication because he took some time to read the message, and some messages were answered a day later, without mentioning that they made a mistake with the check out date and entered the house while the family was there, which was a little freak out for them.
I reiterate, the location is excellent, but it might require a little more love and attention from its host.

Basic property in a nice central area.
Cheap and basic condo in a central area for visiting north LA. la Brea tar pits, LACMA, history of film museum and Petersen’s automotive museum. Good restaurants in the area. IRV’s burger very good. A short walk north to an excellent Sushi restaurant. Smells musty when you first arrive each time. None of the windows open except for the master bedroom patio door. Online photos don’t match with what you find. There is no deck furniture which has seen better days. The plug in the master bathroom doesn’t work. The coffee machine is broken has no carafe so couldn’t even make any coffee. The beds are very hard and creak every time you move.
We only had one pillow each, it would be nice to have two. Only had one bath towel each, should have wash cloth and hand towels available for use. Feels like it was put together with no feminine touches/ input.
You can get a parking permit when you arrive which was great being able to park outside. All in all a cheap basic condo if that is what you are looking for.

If you want something basic this place is okay
We had some issues with the plug in the master bathroom… it did not work, one of the bathrooms hot water only got luke warm, im not sure if this is california but there was no fitted sheet on the bed at all, the comforter had a brown stain on it, could have been cleaner… lot of hair everywhere… if they have anyone renting above you on the second floor you will NOT sleep. Other than that it was a good location and decent price.
This place was super conveniently located in where we wanted to be. 12 mins to Universal. Nice and clean. The shower was amazing! Free parking on the street with a permit that is provided by the host. My only complaint was the air freshener was a little too strong haha.
