We stayed just one night while we visited Maine and NH. Would have loved to stay longer. Didn't get a chance to enjoy the outdoor space, but it looked lovely! The space was perfect with two beds upstairs and a large bathroom.
Will come back if ever in the area.
Loved it!
We loved this place. The cottage was perfect for us. It was very clean and well equipped with every thing we needed. The bed was comfortable. We did some laundry which was a big help. Not too far from Biddeford. It was in a very peaceful location and very restful. We wished we could have stayed longer but we planned for a stop further up the coast in Rock. We both thought it was the best out of our three VRBO locations on this trip.
The house was spotless and the communication with our host was flawless.
We loved our stay. We were able to go the beach by bicycle, which we loved. And the grocery store is very close. We had everything we needed to cook and we were very comfortable.
Thank you so much!
All the best,
Jacinthe and the family
Everything was perfect. Hosts were super-responsive and gracious. Location was a short drive from Hills Beach and downtown Biddeford. The place was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. Our family of three and two dogs felt very much at home and didn’t lack for anything. We absolutely loved our stay.
We had sufficient information before we arrived, it was easy to find and check in was a breeze. The unit is beautifully decorated and has everything anyone could want or need for their stay. We will definitely stay there again if in the area and highly recommend it!
The property was clean, airy, well-stocked with paper products, nice towels, matching dishes, detergent for dishes, laundry products, and everything we needed during our stay. The owners live on the property, which was comforting, in case we needed them. It was convenient to sightseeing and beaches.
The property is well maintained. We had a great stay.
First time Vrbo user very happy with our choice. Tom was a host very helpful and accommodating. If were in the area again this would be the first choice.
We had everything we could need in this adorable place! Everything was clean, well stocked, and super comfortable. Owner was super responsive and friendly.
Everything was great! Bed was super comfy! The whole place was so clean and nicely decorated. Great backyard space for our dog to roam and the firepit was so fun!
The attached cottage was well stocked and comfortable with all new appliances and plenty of furniture. It was just few miles from the ocean, Portland, and Ogunquit and Kennebink areas. Highly recommended.
Clean, spacious. Loved having a washer & dryer! A bit too many pieces of furniture in the small living room. The shower head was too high & made it extremely difficult to shower w/o washing your hair. Central to many southern Maine locations! Beautiful, partially fenced backyard!
This impeccable cottage had everything my family needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Biddeford. Although we did not spend much time in the cottage itself due to UNE graduation festivities, we totally would have enjoyed relaxing by the beautiful rock garden and fire pit had time allowed.
Echo, the host, was friendly, pleasant and receptive. I highly recommend this Vrbo.
Super clean, well stocked with all essentials, plenty of pillows and towels, hosts who were welcoming and appreciative of our presence. Location is convenient to beach, shopping and hiking. Price is very fair for the space and privacy we enjoyed. Check in and check out were seamless.
Beautiful, comfortable place close to the heart of Biddeford
This attached cottage was recently finished and it shows. For our stay it was exceedingly clean and all of the fixtures and furniture seem barely used. We also appreciated the two-story floorplan: Unlike in a hotel room, I could be downstairs watching TV while she went up to bed. Located on a main suburban street, it's just a short drive to hip downtown Biddeford, and we used it as a home base to also explore Saco and Orchard Beach.
A very positive stay in Biddeford! Easy to reach beaches and mountains. It was a convenient “between Hotels” stop on our 2500 mile road trip as we were able to wash some clothing.
Echo and family had been a great help from our first contact with them earlier this year.
Many thanks. Adrian and Elwen
Property was immaculate secondary to attentive hosts! Location, location, location!
Very short distance to Biddeford, Kennebunkport & Ogunquit. As a photographer, brought back beautiful fall pics of the coast. This property was pet friendly so I was able to bring my therapy dog.
Coming back!
This place had everything I needed and more! They accommodated myself and my dog, and were quick to answer me when I reached out about the check out procedure- ps they don’t require a massive close out like some rentals! I was able to work remotely during the day and the internet was great! This is a perfect location for anyone who’s coming to southern Maine and needs a home away from home.

Very cozy, warm and inviting. Had everything we needed. Wonderful hosts. Perfect location.
This location is perfectly situated for all south coastal Maine needs. It’s a perfect house for a couple and maybe a kid or two (we brought our dog). The owners are great and the space is ideal.

About the host
Hosted by Echo Dixon
My husband is from New York, and I grew up in northern Maine. We moved to Biddeford out of love for the area. It is a hidden gem central to everything southern Maine has to offer. We have two beloved dogs, Gizmo and Chase, who are opinionated and loyal. We have three cats, Noodles, Dumbledore, and Gandalf, who continue to let us live here. Noodles is the only girl and the queen of the house. The vet says she is disabled, but she 100% disagrees. I am a therapist, and my husband is the director of day programming at a local social service agency. We love hosting people and bought this house and adjoining apartment to achieve our dream. Welcome!
Why they chose this property
The property is a 1900 farmhouse that was completely renovated. We live in the old farmhouse, and the apartment is attached. It has two separate entrances providing privacy. The first floor is composed of a family room and kitchen. The family room has a propane stove, a twin daybed, and a couch that pulls into a queen bed. There is a dining table for four and a dedicated workstation. The kitchen is complete with everything you need to make meals. In the kitchen is a doorway to the beautiful, secluded backyard with a firepit. Upstairs is an oversized bedroom with a king-sized bed, a walk-in closet, and a reading area. The bedroom is attached to a large bathroom with a shower, washer, and dryer.
What makes this property unique
The unit is quiet and sunny. It is only 9 minutes from several breweries and restaurants. In the other direction, it is 9 minutes from some of Maine's most beautiful beaches. It is only 6 minutes from the University of Southern Maine. It is a quick 30-minute drive to Portland and next door to Old Orchard and Kennebunk. There is central heating, air conditioning, and 1.25 acres of land to explore.
