About this property

Marsh Mellow | Soundfront Home in Surf City

Sleek and chic, this four-bedroom SOUNDFRONT home has a private beach access, a fresh and mod design, and a personal dock right on the sound waters, a perfect place to fish or crab. Warm neutrals will welcome you into the home and flow throughout the open, well-lit space. Sleeping nine people, the house has two king beds, one queen, one double, and a twin. There are also three bathrooms, a fire pit, and an outdoor shower with hot water to rinse off your sun-kissed skin after a day at the beach.

Use the property’s private beach access and set up your spot to spend the day in the waves. Rest in a beach chair and keep your nose in a classic novel or contemporary mag, walk alongside the oceanside, or spend the entire day in the salty waves while you catch much-needed warm rays. When it’s time to peel yourself away from the white sands, go back to the house, rinse off, and get ready to visit the town and all it has to offer.

Grab lunch at one of the eateries or breweries and stop by a boutique for a Topsail Island t-shirt or mug for your friends back home. There are also golf courses nearby, stores and restaurants you are used to, or tour the island with a bike you rent from a mom-and-pop shop. Maybe you want to stop at a local fresh produce or seafood stand, go roller skating, or visit one of the three piers on the island and bump elbows with the chummy locals while you fish for fresh Black Drum. On your way back to the house, stop at the grocery store and pick up food to complement your catch-of-the-day.

Back at the home, hang out and play one of the many board games available. Plug in your electric vehicle underneath the carport that will have you fully charged in less than 8 hours! You’ll find tons of room for you and yours to dine, then pour yourself a glass of wine or warm tea, step outside the living room doors, and sit on the back deck. End your day in paradise by watching the setting sun disappear behind the colossal, unaltered sound.

Sleep will welcome you after a day of beach respite and fun. Rest easily on the comfy beds, then wake to views of the sound. Shower in the elegant and handsome, tiled shower with Bluetooth speaker, then ready yourself for another blissful, beachy day.

The home also boasts an elevator, washer and dryer, and there is a boogie board, beach wagon, umbrella, bocce ball and lots of beach toys! Contact us today to book this property before it’s too late, and begin planning your dream vacation on the most beautiful Topsail Island, North Carolina.

Beautiful home with tons of accommodations

Over all we had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful and the views were stunning. However, we asked before renting the home if we dock our 17 foot boat at the house and was told yes but unfortunately we couldn't even get the boat back to the dock due to the shallowness of the water. That was heartbreaking. The location to the beach was great and loved golf carting around the island.

Easy breezy

We had a last minute trip to the island for a family funeral. The process form check in to check out was great. The house was clean and has expected. We had a busy schedule so we didn’t cook any meals but the kitchen seemed well appointed. Thermostat worked great and ceiling fans in each room was perfect. Would be a great spot a full week. Linen package was a little underwhelming but sufficient. Management was great and so responsive to our one minor maintenance need.

Lovely home and great spot

This was our first time renting in Surf City and on the sound. We typically end up in N Topsail but wanted to try something different. We loved the layout, it worked perfectly for us and the 4 kids. We got to stay upstairs and they were downstairs. We had everything we needed for the beach (toys, chairs, cart, umbrella, boogie boards), and they even had much of the supplies they told us to bring like Saran Wrap, foil, dish soap, hand soap, etc. LOVED having osmosis water since beach water always has a taste to me. Beds were super comfortable! The views on the pier were spectacular at sunset and the private beach access was nice - a little walk, but not bad at all. We will be here again!

Marsh Minded

If you love marsh views and crabbing this is perfect for you. The ocean is a bit of a walk accessed by a private boardwalk across the main street. Our party consisted of a set of Grandparents & two moms each with two children, so we lacked a private bed for one child. The Ikea kitchen had most everything you need, just bring your own food. The elevator was a blessing because I turned an ankle the day we arrived. The 'fun' closet had a nice stock of recreational equipment. The disappointment was that there is no easily accessible area to launch a canoe or kayak. Beds are comfortable seating, not so much. Moody, fun beach vibe decor.
