Comfy, cute & clean cabin in a great location with everything you need and more... a hot tub, 2 fire pits & a furnished deck that overlooks the lovely stream rushing behind the home, perfect for gemming & mining. And the string lights behind the house and along the pathway down to the stream added a perfect touch of ambiance at night. The only negative is that the house is on a steep hillside with no flat areas, besides the driveway which is not the best for toddlers who like to play outside. Also, beware, the road up to the house is very steep and narrow. All in all, we had a magical time and many new family memories were made! Can't wait to come back!

Relaxing
Creek is great! Outside landscaping could use some upkeep. The fire pit being moved down by the creek is a little inconvenient. House is perfect size, nicely decorated and clean!

Nice smaller cabin in the mountains
Stayed here for Thunder in the Smokies. Location was great! Roads are a little sketchy but most mountain roads are. Overall loved the place and will stay here again for future rallies.

Amazing Once Again
This place is amazing. Location is close to everything Maggie Valley has to offer. Bring your clothes and food and you will be all set. This was our second stay here and we will definitely be back for more. Couldn’t ask for anything better.

Fabulous getaway cabin!
We had such a lovely stay at Kabin Kleighp! Great location in Maggie Valley, close to shops and restaurants but off the beaten path so there's plenty of privacy. Cabin is so comfortable and inviting. Loved sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning, and with a glass of wine in the afternoon, enjoying the peace and quiet and listening to the water in the creek below. Everything you could want is here - the kitchen is fully equipped for anything you need in preparing meals. Lots of sleep space, comfortable living area, gas fireplace. Love the firepits outside (there are actually 2!). Our dog loved the play area. We highly recommend this cabin.

Was disappointed
We were on motorcycles. We were never told how the cabin was hanging up high on the mountain side. And the road was one steep switchback after another then from that the road to the cabin was straight down a very steep grade Not for street bikes whatsoever!! Although the toilets, showers, beds seemed clean the floors were dirty there were no extra supplies and the furniture appeared to be dirty. Lifting up the storage under the couch cushions the extra pillows stored underneath were covered in dog hair. After leaving the cabin in the morning we’d stay out all day because of the awful trip to get back up to it. Also only one out of four ceiling fans worked. I’m sorry to have to say all this just was not what we have experienced in renting a stay in the passed. And when you pay over $100 in cleaning fees you hope to be staying in a CLEAN cabin.

Cool Summer Retreat
Kabin Kleighp is a secluded forest paradise nested beside a babbling brook. The elevation of the Kabin provides cool summer weather. We visited in July 2023 and ended up running the heaters - we are acclimated to 95 degree days at sea level. Our family enjoyed exploring the forest, and playing in the brook. We also enjoyed the hot tub amenity, and the back porch was my little relaxation spot to watch the bird activity, and chipmunks doing their thing by the brook. Also, the beds are amazingly comfortable! While in the area we visited the Cherokee ruby and sapphire mine, and met locals that allowed us to explore their farms. Sutton and Son's Antiques is a gem for unique collectibles. I found beautiful hand woven garden baskets, some authenticated as Cherokee made, that I added to my collection.

Weekend getaway
The house was very nice. Loved the view and the hot tub. The house was not clean when we got there. They did send someone to clean it, but they didn’t arrive until 5 hours later.
