A warm and inviting main floor with a kitchen, dining and living area along with two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The living and dining area on the main floor have access to a deck to take in the beautiful mountain air and views. There is also a full studio on a lower ground floor to which you will have full access and is part of rental of this condo. Remodeled and well stocked. The whole unit is big enough for 8 comfortably. Private jetted tub and steam shower in the studio. This lower ground floor studio has a second entry door and patio for quiet enjoyment of the surrounding wooded landscape.

Visit Cuchara

I grew up visiting Cuchara. My parents rented various places for weeks and months. Now we rent and this time took our kids and grandkids. Funny but by accident one of my nephews and his family were visiting at the same time. Basically our whole family enjoys the area.

The Best Condo We've Found in Cuchara

We have been vacationing in the Cuchara area for over 30 years. We have stayed in all sorts of condos and cabins. This condo by far has been the best. It is clean, comfortable and has everything you need. We did not bring our dogs, but if we had, the lower floor is perfect for taking them outside. Jeff is a great host. He responded immediately to any questions. When booking, I was concerned about noise from neighbors, but this trip was very quiet. About the area...we have seen the area go downhill for many years. It is great to see how the residents are improving the property and how a store has opened in the old ski lodge. I'm sure we will be back. Cuchara feels like home to us, and I hope we are able to stay in this condo again! Thank you, Jeff, for making this available!

Wonderful Winter Stay!

The mountain village of Cuchara is tucked within an area of unique geologic and geographic wonders on the eastern edge of the Sangre de Cristo mountains in the Cucharas River Valley.
