Our stay in Yakima was great at this comfy little house. The house is located in a wonder spot that is quiet and private. Our dog was able to come with us. The house was clean and stocked with everything you need to be comfy. Including bedding, bathroom, and kitchen needs. I recommend highly!needs.
Hosts were very nice, and the area was pleasantly quiet.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
The house is in a relatively safe area. You can park in a covered area. The house is clean. The house has a good place to watch TV. Bathroom is clean. The bed is ok. The ceiling in the bedroom is falling dow a bit. It is a nice place when you bring your dog.
The drawbacks: They need to clean up the RoundUp in the backyard. The dogs two houses over were loud during the day.
I liked the house and the feel of it, very nice. It was a bit misleading about the play area, but they were very nice to my 4yr old grandson. It says kid and pet friendly, but there was weed killer right next to the kennels, accessible to my dog and grandson. The house was clean and very comfortable, in a very quiet part of town.
Went to the Gorge Amphitheater and stayed in this nice place before the drive back in the morning. Loved that they provided bagels, waffles, and english muffin, along w/ other breakfast items. PERFECT way to start the morning. Loved the stay! Thanks!
Thank you for having us in your sweet little space. You had everything we needed and more. We appreciate you going over and beyond.

Please consider a deep cleaning before renting again.
The location was perfect for the reason we were in town. I feel this unit would very much benefit from a deep cleaning before the next rental. First thing I noticed was a dead fly in the refrigerator, ok, things happen. Throughout the stay I found more filth in more places. Hair and dirt in the freezer, snot wiped along the side of the bedding, old q-tips and hair tie between the wall and the vanity in the bathroom, the microfiber window covering was very unbecoming, and the layer of dust inside the entertainment center was surprising. I don’t consider myself a picky person, I just don’t think this level of cleanliness is appropriate for VRBO. I would have looked for a new place to stay if the whole town hadn’t been booked up due to the state track meet.

Met our need, could be more comfortable.
Pros: Host was quick to respond and easily answered questions. The place was spacious with an air conditioner, closed in yard and privacy.
Cons: despite the host being responsive, we were never given check in or check out instructions. We had requested to check in early which we were able to do, but we had to contact the host the day of because there were a bunch of cars parked at the address. We didnt know where to enter or any specifics on parking etc.
Despite having an AC, the back part of the house got quite hot in the night. It was a tough time trying to sleep. I just chalk that up to the AC being unable to cool the whole place but an AC in the bedroom would be nice. Also at about 5 am a ton of neighborhood dogs started barking for at least 10 minutes straight. It didnt seem like anyone was going to quiet their pets. I say that having 3 dogs of my own and know what its like to hear barking but this was another level. Earplugs would be helpful.
Overall the place met our needs and the price was fair. We liked they had a closed off space that allowed our dogs to explore in safety but there are lots of foxtails thay can get stuck in fur and ears. We were thankful of the hosts willingness to let us check in early but also felt they were a little disorganized and maybe forgot we had agreed to early check in based on never receiving instructions and having to call.
