ABOUT CASA BUENA VIDA
Wake to the sounds of the jungle in Casa Buena Vida. 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom bohemian charmer located in the popular beach community of North Guiones in Nosara district, Guanacaste province, Costa Rica (Blue Zone). Enjoy the magic of lush gardens, recently remodeled rooms, spiral staircases, multiple decks, new marble counters and brass fixtures for the ultimate Nosara surf and yoga home. The uniquely situated home borders our local jungle preserve and enjoys the privacy of being at the end of a semi-private road, yet near the heart of town, steps away from all the best restaurants, shops and a grocery mart. Meanwhile, a quick walk on trails brings you to some of the world’s most consistently epic surf. The house is a true gem with an incredible location. This home has a security system.
ON THE INSIDE
Casa Buena Vida has two master suites, two king bedrooms and a bunk room, easily accommodating larger travel groups. Upon entering the property, you’ll follow a garden path to the entrance of the main house, where the kitchen, bunk room, two master suites (one up and one down) and three bathrooms are located. Each master suite has a king bed, large, ensuite bathroom and spacious balcony or patio overlooking the garden, private pool and jungle. One master suite (with ensuite bathroom), the bunk room and a separate bathroom are located on the ground level. The upstairs master suite is only accessible by an exterior, covered spiral staircase. The home also features a flex room with comfortable seating and a flat screen TV for movie night. There is also a desk if you need to do a little work while visiting.

Crossing the garden from the main house is a separate two-level casita with one king bedroom and bathroom on the ground level and one king bedroom and bathroom on the second level accessible by an exterior spiral staircase. Each bedroom has its own patio or balcony overlooking the garden, jungle and private pool.
ON THE OUTSIDE
The layout of the property creates a private courtyard in the back with shade and views of the jungle. Spacious covered patios and balconies make it easy to spend as much time as possible outside during your Costa Rica getaway. Each patio and balcony has a ceiling fan, furniture and jungle views.
LOCATION IS EVERYTHING
Casa Buena Vida is located in the heart of the popular beach community of North Guiones. Enjoy a 5 to 7 minute walk to Playa Guiones, where you will find surf for all levels. There is no need for a car unless you plan to explore beyond the area. You’ll have easy access to North Guiones Beach by walking through town or using the network of private trails for access to both North Guiones Beach and Pelada Beach. During the months of May through November, the paths will be muddy from the seasonal rains.
Once your reservation is confirmed a member of our team will be in touch with you to help finalize all the little details, such as booking transportation to/from the airport, scheduling activities, yoga classes, massages, private chef recommendations and more.
THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT CASA BUENA VIDA
The two means of access to the master king suite in the main house are by exterior, covered, spiral staircases -- one located at the back and one at the front of the home. You will need to go outside the home to access this bedroom.
You may experience noise from the neighboring restaurants or occasional live music events until 10pm.

LOCAL QUIRKS - IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS AREA OF COSTA RICA
While the infrastructure in Costa Rica is improving, it is highly likely that you will experience dust, bugs, mold, power, water and internet outages at some point during your stay. We consider it part of the fun of experiencing another country and culture. All of these issues are beyond the control of the homeowner and the management company and may come without advance notice. If having internet access is imperative during your visit, we recommend you research internet data plans available to you through your cellular provider. The Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada and surrounding areas of Nosara are rapidly growing communities. As such, much of the area will have noise from construction typically between the hours of 6am and 5pm. We do our best to update our properties impacted by construction, however, we are not always provided advance notice of a project. The septic system in the Nosara area does not permit flushing of toilet paper with few exceptions. If you have any questions at all, please contact us in advance of booking your stay as refunds and concessions will not be given for any of the reasons above as they are beyond the control of the homeowner and property manager.
