Amazing place!!
I went in to this a little skeptical because this listing had 0 reviews, but the place greatly exceeded our expectations. We stayed here for the weekend and chose this location because it was convenient for taking the train to NYC (instead of staying in NYC which was too expensive). Since this has 0 reviews right now i'm here to put in a good detailed vouch for others in the future
Pros:
- 15 min walk to NY-Penn train station
- spacious and full apt amenities; houses up to 8 people very comfortably
- The big TV was nice, as well as the amenities
- all the pics in the listing show exactly what the place is like. It was hard to believe it was such a nice apartment given the sketchy surroundings
- good security: you need codes/keyfobs to access the building, parking garage, and lounge/gym
- the hosting team is very communicative, timely, and kind, and give detailed instructions
- the mattresses are extremely comfortable
- super clean apartment. Didn't see a single bug or stain anywhere
Cons:
- pretty sketchy neighborhood. Be careful at night, Ubering is worth it
- not a big deal, but you need to setup the twin beds yourself if you have enough people to require one
- only 1 parking space available when staying here, so if you have 2 or more cars you need to find another lot. This can be hard since there's no overnight street parking. We got overnight parking at Island Quick parking (15 min walk away)
