Phoenix VII is one of the most relaxing condominium complexes on the gulf coast. There is a reason more vacationers stay at this condo than any other in Orange Beach.

This 1BR Phoenix VII condo is one of the best on the beach! Ideal for a couple or a small family. There are plenty of activities including a weight room, racquetball court, sauna, indoor heated pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, basketball court and outdoor pool. There is even a nice gazebo area to relax under while you're bbq'ing.

Come relax on the 6th floor balcony with breathtaking views of the gulf perfectly located above the outdoor pool. The condo has one full bath off the master and the master bedroom has a king size bed. There is a queen sized sleeper sofa for sleeping up to 4. The kitchen is fully equipped. We are conveniently located next to restaurants, grocery stores and not far from the outlet malls.

Parking: You must purchase your parking passes upon arrival. Parking pass fees are based on length of stay; 1 night is $25, 2-10 nights is $55, 11-31 nights is $100, 32-61 nights is $200, 62-91 nights is $300 and 92+ nights is $400. One bedroom condos are guaranteed 1 parking pass. Additional passes will be sold based on availability in the parking lot.

Picture Perfect!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo building has a beautiful lobby, indoor pool, racquetball and out side had a beautiful immaculately clean pool and pickleball courts. The boardwalk to white sandy beach was extended with a cloth mat , so you could haul beach apparel closer to the water without being exhausted. Clerk always on hand and polite. We had a quick response with a minor problem from the rental company. The condo itself is on a corner on the edge of pool. The gulf views are beautiful. Kitchen updated and well-supplied with dishes and utensils. , etc. Bring salt/pepper and dish detergent, shampoo. The bedroom was large with a Very comfy King bed. The fan overhead kept me cool and was so quiet for sleep. We would love to return some day!

Only complaint I can think of is, every time we got out of the bed, it made lots of crunchy noise. That was pretty annoying as it would wake up the other person.

Phoenix 7 is a very nice area with access to about anything one could ever want at the beach. The beaches are beautiful, chair and umbrella rentals are available and reasonable. The beach access is wonderful and has the only walkway that extends well over half way out to the ocean. This makes easy access for anyone walking or hauling chairs, children, or coolers! The rooms are well appointed and easily accessible. One of the best things I personally liked is the way check in and checkout is handled. All is done on line with no need to spend time at the counter or having to plan your arrival or departure around times the office is manned. This includes getting your parking pass. The amount of time I spent at the front desk was less than “3” minutes!! They printed my pass and I went directly to the condo. All contact I had was by text on my cell and there response time was almost immediately ... Hard to beat that.

Reviewer Comments: The unit itself was slightly outdated (specifically the living room furniture) and we had one minor maintenance issue (fridge) that was immediately addressed. Overall, the unit was clean, cozy & functional! We've frequented several Phoenix properties & this was the first time the basics weren't provided. (Ex. 1/2 roll of toilet paper & no dish soap) We didn't expect a surplus but would've appreciated a foundation.The bank of elevators (4) had maintenance issues throughout our stay, leading to some delays/irritations but the remainder of the facility was very well maintained.Our contact (Brandy) was attentive and friendly, we look forward to working with her again in the future!

Great stay

Had problem with shower door not sliding but maintenance was called and doors repaired next day. Room was not "beachy" decorated and was far from elevators, but was clean and had very comfortable bed...two of the most important factors! We totally enjoyed our stay!

Orange Beach Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this was a great condo. View was great, clean, all that was needed was there. Loved the location. A couple things that might help with satisfaction. The correspondence was very plain about not checking in until 4:30, but we landed at 9:30 and you can only shop so much. Would it be so bad or too much trouble to text the contact when the condo is available? We stopped to pay the parking fee, which is a little silly, but I can live with that! Anyway, the women working the desk were very nice, but said they were not employed by Phoenix Rentals and did not have access to whether we could get in yet. At 4 p.m., I went up and the code worked. Just something to think about! The only other issue was ice. There was no correspondence that ice would not be available in the condo. (It makes sense not to have the ice makers hooked up!) My husband went down and asked the person at the desk if there was any ice and she said no, so when we went out for dinner, we had to make another stop for a bag of ice. The kicker was that night we went down to walk on the beach and there was an ice machine! Not a happy moment! The furniture could stand and update and the sliding screens on the deck could stand replacing. The snake at the pool was not great, two days, but you can't help that, and that can happen at my pool at home! The restaurants were all good and all 3 Waffle Houses we tried were excellent for breakfast. OB is a great place for an older couple and May is a great time to visit! Thank you!
