Unhappy First Time Vrbo Clients
Overall, we were not happy at all with property and this is why: apartment photos were misleading, repairs were highly in need, issues were not either not addressed or promptly resolved, requirement to email our driver license photos were unnerving because our identities could be stolen and felt unsafe due to our home addresses and birthdates displayed, the apartment was filthy & needed to be sprayed for roaches which required us to be away for 5 hrs BUT THE ROACHES REMAINED, there were no cleaning supplies but we were required to clean the apartment, we were not supplied with the initial supply of toilet paper and paper towels, there were no dish towels & dish cloths, we were mot supplied with bedding sheets and towels especially for a 31-day stay, the cleaning fee is an egregious amount but yet we had to clean before we left, the towel rack was broken in the primary room so no place to hang towels, the coined laundry room was extremely filthy, we asked about parking & host never responded but yet was so accusatory of parking violations, host didn’t communicate in a professional manner but yet she made sure she informed us of any financial consequences if we did not follow her terms & conditions, and all the cleaning tools weren’t adequate.At this point, this will be our first and LAST Vrbo rental.
The one positive is the beds were comfortable.Since we had to clean the apartment so we could live in it for a month comfortably, we’re requesting the cleaning fee be refunded.
