Surf City Off Island Retreat! 2.5 mi to beach - Flexible booking days!

Best of both worlds! Minutes from the beach on a huge 1/2 lot with a fenced yard, BBQ, and firepit! This home is 3 bedroom and 2 bath in a quiet neighborhood- single level and just minutes from Surf City, Topsail Island! Make this your home base and visit all the area has to offer!

We offer flexible number of days and you can check in and out ANY day of the week to avoid the area's Saturday check in/out traffic.

We are in Hampstead and a short drive from Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville, and so much more! (Please map out the distance to other areas) This area in Hampstead is 2.5 miles from an amazing beautiful beach in Surf City but also so much more! Beautiful golf courses, great restaurants, fishing, hiking, and so much more!

The home has 3 bedrooms that sleeps 6 and 2 full bathrooms. We have a living room, kitchen and dining area. The primary bedroom and the twin bed room both have Roku smart tv's as well as the living room so you can stream your favorites easily! The backyard features a fire pit and Adirondack chairs, a gas BBQ grill, and plenty of room to play yard games galore or just sit out under the stars!

To get out of the neighborhood and onto the island, its 2 right turns and you are at the bridge!

The home was previously listed as a short term rental by a different property manager and had amazing reviews!

We look forward to hosting you on your next NC getaway!

We provide towels, bed linens and bedding, shampoo, body wash and conditioner, etc. Some starter items we provide are dishwasher pods, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry tabs, dryer sheets, trash bags, some kitchen spices, coffee, coffee filters and some creamers and sweeteners. This is not unlimited quantity but we do provide enough for normal use during the duration of your stay. We do no re-stock during your stay.

We are not pet friendly and do not allow smoking. See the house rules for more information.

We do have two exterior security cameras on the property as seen in photos.

Perfect getaway

We so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. As soon as we walked in, we knew we had picked the perfect place to relax and enjoy some time away at the beach. The house was spotless and the neighborhood was quiet. Everything was perfect for our family, including for our toddler who loved staying at the “hotel house.” The hosts thought of everything, and we enjoyed being close to whatever we wanted to explore. Can’t wait to stay again.

Inviting feel

This was the perfect stay for us while in Surf City area. I loved the home. It was clean, and decorated very nicely. Hosts left goodies and very responsive. It was exactly as described. We travel to the area to see family and will definitely stay here again.

Great family-friendly option, very short drive to the beach!

This house was perfect for our family of 6 (teenagers and adults)! The neighborhood was very quiet, but close to town and the beach. The house had everything we needed, including beach chairs and towels. It's a very nice, clean, comfortable house. We would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in the area!

3 day get away

This is such a cute house! It was very clean and had a nice sized yard with a fire pit. Close to everything and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Our host was amazing, would definitely stay there again and would recommend this place to family and friends.

Great property, but.

Now that I have your attention. The property was great. The only issue I had was, location. I wanted somewhere closer to Wilmington. Poor planning on my part. All the amenities were great as well. There is plenty of parking. The fenced backyard is large and flat with chairs, grill and a place to clean your feet from the beach before going inside. There are plenty of cooking utensils.

Wonderful experience

We had a wonderful stay at the property. We could not have rented a better place to stay for our family vacation. Within minutes of everything but out of all commotion. Quiet neighborhood and relaxing retreat. The host thought of everything possible. The beds are extremely comfortable. The property was affordable. We will definitely rent again. If I could give it 100 stars I would.

Great home in a quiet neighborhood

Well appointed and comfortable home in a quaint and quiet neighborhood. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and even had beach towels and chairs available. Did i mention only minutes to the beach?! All around great place to stay...highly recommend!

Home away from home!

The listing does not do this property justice— it exceeded our expectations! The kitchen is completely stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, serving dishes, spices, and even a Crockpot! It’s really nice to not have to worry about bringing these things from home, or having to run out to get them. There is also a closet stocked with beach items. Everything about this rental made it so easy to have a relaxing, great time with little preparation and packing on our part. We will be recommending this rental to others and hope to come back someday! Thank you!

Beautiful home away from home

We found our new favorite place to stay close to family and the beach. It will be our go to rental if available when we come to town. The Edenfield family were a pleasure to work with and rent from. My kids loved the the beach and sand toys. This rental has everything you need. My daughter loved the shampoo dispensers in the showers. I had to order some for our home.

Family vacation

Family vacation

This house was perfect for our family vacation. The home is comfortable and the basic supplies were great. A couple movie nights on the couch together, after days at the beach, were so nice. The location was a short driving distance to the stores and beach access. The neighborhood was wonderful and quiet. Would absolutely stay here again!
