Majestic sunsets over the South Puget Sound await you at our 70's themed A-frame house, which sits on the edge of a peaceful saltwater cove, where kingfishers, herons, and river otters play. Our house is in a small rural community on the southwest coast of the Key Peninsula, 90 minutes from Seattle, and 45 minutes from Tacoma. We have everything you need for a relaxing get-away: a well-equipped kitchen, books and board games, turntable and records, and a smart TV. Well-behaved dogs are welcome!

We enjoyed our stay at the "70'" cabin. It was well stocked with everything one needed plus lots more. We were there at night as we were visiting our daughter who lives on the peninsula so we didn't spend a lot of time there. But when we were there is was very pleasant. Would stay again.
Decor is amazing and full of unique details. Very comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, and gorgeous view from the back porch/deck. We loved just sitting back there and watching the sun set. Gorgeous.
My fiance and I rented this spot for the weekend, as a central hub for relaxation and preparation for our wedding ceremony at Joemma beach and our reception at the Longbranch Improvement Club. We wished we could have stayed to actually use the spot for relaxed isolation but we were busy running around in the day and passing out on the comfortable beds soon after a long, beautiful, and fun wedding day on the Key Peninsula. We even did our first look pictures here with the Puget sound in the background. So needless to say, we are planning to come and rent this spot again as seasoned husband and wife as this spot is cute, comfortable, and quiet. Highly recommended stay with beautiful views of the water and amazing 70s decor. Gotta come back to listen to that record collection!
Relaxing, stunning views with all the amenities you would require. Great location. The bed was very comfortable.

About the host
Your host
My wife and I love to travel. We live and work in Seattle and love to share our beautiful A-frame cabin with our guests.
Why they chose this property
The Cedars is in a rural community on a saltwater cove on on the Key Peninsula. It's the perfect balance of proximity to Seattle and Tacoma while still being out in nature. You'll see beautiful sunsets, lots of birds, and have lots of opportunity to relax.
What makes this property unique
You'll be transported to another time! Our Cabin is 1970's-themed, from the architecture, the decor, to the vinyl record collection, etc. The couch, beds, appliances and bidet are modern of course, but fit in with the aesthetic.
