Welcome to a beautiful, peaceful, remote, Rocky Mountain getaway! You will enjoy amazing views, and privacy while staying in this furnished 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin with a large loft, providing a second living space, and additional beds.
The property can comfortably accommodate 4.
National forest access is 5 minutes away, and activities that you enjoy, hiking, biking, skiing, 4 wheeling, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and snow shoeing. 30 Minutes from Fairplay, 55 from Breckenridge.
There are multiple exterior security/wildlife cameras on the property.
Fishing FYI, The Tarryall Creek in this area, and nearby ponds are private fishing and guests are prohibited from fishing here. There are many other public lakes and reservoirs nearby to fish.

Amazing Cabin

Perfect cabin for a couple. Well equipped. Awesome views.A drive to get to sites. Took a day trip to Breckenridge.Would go a little later than April as most Passes were closed for Autos & A lot of Hiking trials had snow, so not hiker friendly. would recommend hiking Kenosha Pass & Colorado trials outside Jefferson

Beautiful location

The cabin was amazingly lovely. THE VIEWS, oh my goodness the views were absolutely spectacular. The cabin was well furnished and quite comfortable. The wood stove was one of my favorite amenities, me and my wife sat cuddled up in front of the fire most of our trip. 100% would stay again!!!

We LOVED this property! Gorgeous views and peaceful! The owners communicated very well and were very helpful! Comfortable beds, great kitchen, and the bath towels hang above a baseboard heater so they are nice and toasty when you get out of the shower. Truly a delightful location.

Short visit in beautiful mountains

This property was perfect for our needs. Amazing views, quiet setting, clean, very comfortable beds and sitting area. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Easy to get to just a short distance off the main road. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quite peaceful getaway.

Peaceful and beautiful

A short weekend getaway for just me. I wanted to unplug, relax and reset. This was a perfect place that wasn’t too far away. Beautiful views all day and quiet with all the comforts of home. Bed was comfortable with great pillows! I hope to return again this summer but with my kids.

Everything my soul needed

This was our first time to Colorado and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay!! We explored so much of the area from Jefferson Lake, Breckenridge, treehouse adventures in Bailey, and climbed Mount Blue Sky. The house was great…especially just sitting out on the deck listening to the wildlife. Would absolutely return!

Impressive Cabin

My wife and I booked this cabin for a little getaway. The location was perfect (about 45 min from town). The cabin was beautiful, well furnished and very well taken care of. The welcome binder had lots of useful information. My wife got to see some birds that she hadn’t seen here in Texas. This was a good stay and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Look no further!!!

Beautiful, clean, well stocked with everything you need for cooking. I can’t say enough about how comfortable the cabin is. Tucked in the mountains. And the views!!! The pictures do not do it justice. If you are looking for some peace and solitude with beautiful views this is definitely the place. Host is very helpful and quick to respond with any questions you may have. Centrally located to many areas. The town of Fairplay is half hour away and Prathers grocery store has whatever you need. Salon Mexico has excellent food! Would definitely return without a doubt.

Cabin in the mountains

We flew into Denver, got a rental car around 11am. It was snowing but not too bad. We got to the road the cabin was on and couldn’t get up the hill. There should have been something in the information that 4 wheel drive was needed. We had to drive back to the airport & get a 4 wheel drive SUV. Once we got to the cabin it was very nice, just like the pictures. Well equipped with everything you would need. It is remote but that is what we were looking for, beautiful sunrise and sunsets!! Very peaceful!!

Peaceful and clean property

The cabin is as described and everything worked well. Is at the end of a culdesac and neighbors were not visible and were not loud at all. The only negatives were the temperature was record highs for the area so the cabin was quite warm during the day (got up to 90 at one point inside the cabin) with windows open. There were two fans to help out and we weren’t really there during the days much but took a while to cool down in the evenings. Also is not very friendly for an infant, but that’s to be expected in a cabin. There is no good way to block off the access to the stairs. The view is outstanding, I would absolutely stay again and plan to make another trip this next year in the early spring and hope the cabin is available. The elevation is about 9500 ft so keep that in mind if you have issues with higher elevations.

High elevation seclusion!

Exactly as described by the owners. This cabin is an excellent place for anyone who wants to be reasonably secluded from civilization and enjoy the wildlife of the rocky mountains. Be sure to bring binoculars to view the landscape, watch wildlife, and explore all the hiking opportunities. Stargazing is excellent on cloudless nights. Consider a telescope. The kitchen is well stocked and full of necessities. Things we didn't even think we'd need were right there. If you are unaccustomed to high elevations and very dry air, I recommend you bring a humidifier. It gets cold at night in the mountains and heating the cabin dries out the air even more. Will definitely seek this place out again next time we decide to vacation in Colorado.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this cabin years ago. It sits on 2 acres located on a cul-de-sac, so it is very quiet. The views are incredible. We can sit on the deck and just relax and enjoy looking at the views. We often run in to Fairplay, Breckenridge, and Buena Vista. There is so much to see and do.

What makes this property unique

The views are incredible. Not too properties have the vantage point that we do, and during the day, it seems to change, with a different amazing scene. Our cul-de-sac is very quiet. Our cabin is very open and bright, it feels bigger than you would think.
