About this property
The Chestnut Street Cottage!
Originally a garage built in 1917 for a Ford Model T by Dr. Samuel Geise, The Chestnut Street Cottage is the perfect place to slow down and finish reading that book, breathe, dream and reflect. This space has been fully transformed into a cozy cottage with all of the special features that make it feel like home.
The space
Nestled in the heart of the river town of Sunbury Pennsylvania there are an abundance of places to explore within walking distance or a short drive away. River walk, breweries, wineries, bakeries, dining, parks, antique shopping… Lake Augusta (Susquehanna river) is great for kayaking, boating, fishing and whatever your favorite water activity is. Whether you are coming for a quiet break or attending a local concert or wedding, this is the perfect place. Enjoy the gas fire pit, hot tub or stroll through the lush flower beds. Feel free to help yourself to veggies, herbs and fruit from the kitchen garden directly behind the cottage.
Guest access
The entire cottage is completely yours to enjoy.
Other things to note
Second bed in located in the open loft area accessed by a ladder.
