About this property

Use our Desert Aire weekend vacation home as your “base camp” to enjoy the local area:
• 30 min from the Gorge Amphitheater
• 18-hole PGA rated golf course
• Priest Rapids Lake boat launch for boating and fishing
• Local wineries
• Near Beverly Dunes and ORV area
• 3 miles of riverfront trails
• Large park and community pool

Our comfortable vacation home has a kitchen with all the basic cookware and utensils, 3 bedrooms (king, queen and 2 twins), 2 full baths, living room and bonus room.
The space
Master bedroom has a king bed and full bath. Second bedroom has a queen and the third bedroom has two twins, with a full bath at the end of the hallway.
Kitchen and adjoining dining room. There isn’t a dishwasher.
Living room with a couch and love seat. Den room with a comfortable reading chair.
House is on a 1/2 acre gravel lot next to an orchard.
Garage is locked for owner use.
Guest access
You’ll have access to the entire house except for one locked closet. The unattached garage is locked for use by the owner.
Dogs are allowed for a $25 fee.
There is plenty of space for parking or boat storage.

Peaceful weekend

Lovely location for a family weekend. Golf course nearby, wine tasting, and Wanapum Heritage Center well worth our time. We enjoyed a quiet, peaceful weekend.

Awesome little place!

This was the perfect answer to housing needs in this area. Great location, and super quiet. Really enjoyed watching the sun come up out the dining room window, and then setting over the back yard.

Great location, plenty of parking. Having the firepit and bbq was great! Locking door difficult to learn, just needs to be replaced. Would stay again.

Good Place for Business Travel

There are not many options for lodging in Matawa. This unit worked out perfectly for our staff needs while our business serviced the Matawa community. It was easy to access. Plenty of parking for our trailer, and the unit was clean and had everything we needed.

I loved that this was a quite and comfortable. The house was wonderful. We did forget the stuff in the fridge, but that was our fault. Loved Mattawa and looking for petrified wood! I will be looking to stay again next spring break!
