Welcome to the Crow River Resort! This expansive six-bedroom estate boasts a heated indoor pool and room for everyone. Experience the convenience of this great location just 35 minutes from downtown Minneapolis AND the beauty of nature in your backyard as the home sits on 22 rolling acres backing up to the most desirable section of the Crow River which is perfect for fishing, tubing, canoeing, and kayaking.

Interior:
Walking in, you're greeted with the kitchen to your right, dining room ahead, and a sitting room to the left. The living room is to the right of the dining area and features a second-story three season porch with incredible views. Down the hall to your left, you'll find the primary bedroom, bedroom one, with a king bed and ensuite. Bedrooms two and three are down the same hall, one with a king bed and the other with a queen. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are connected by a Jack and Jill bathroom. At the end of the hall is the immaculate pool room featuring a 15'x30' pool with tons of natural light! The opposite end of the home from the pool room features an oversized 8 car garage. As you walk downstairs, you'll be greeted with the theatre and game room. This room has a projector and seating for everyone as well as a pool table. To the left is a bedroom four which is a room with four sets of bunkbeds. To the right is bedroom 5 with a King bed and two twin beds. Behind the theatre area is bedroom 6 which features a full-over-full bunk bed with trundle as well as a small workspace with an office chair and desk. Additionally, the lower level features a golf simulator, perfect for practicing solo or playing together.

Exterior:
The front of the house has a small porch perfect for sipping coffee in the morning. The back of the house has a large patio with seats and tables, great for entertaining! The backyard is fenced for peace of mind with pets and children. On the right side of the house, a trail leads down to the river. Near the river, there is a seating area with a fire pit and seating.

The Crow River:
This section of the Crow River is well known for it's paddling via canoe or kayak, tubing, and fishing. Per the Minnesota DNR Website, "The South Fork of the Crow River offers enjoyable paddling for canoeists and kayakers near the Twin Cities. Because it is mostly gentle, with only a few easy stretches of rougher water, the South Fork is suitable for beginning paddlers unless the water is high due to flooding. There are very few rapids, none more difficult than Class I." This river offers phenomenal fishing including:

Great group stay

This property was perfect to host a large group stay. The location was easy to find and had plenty to do for little kids! The host was very helpful and communicated quickly! We would absolutely return!

Family Reunion

Overall, our stay was good. The house had plenty of sleeping space for our group. The beds were very comfortable. The location is very nice and the property is lovely. The use of the golf cart was appreciated and a nice bonus. There are few things that could be fixed with the property, but overall it is a lovely spot with plenty of space for a large group.

Great home for our whole family to spend time together

Spent rhe weekend with our adult children and grand children. Pleanty of beds. There were 15 of us. Lots of room. Nice not having to leave the house to swim.

Spring Break in MN

Every year we get together with 2 of our family friends and take a "spring break" trip. Our group consists of 6 adults and 7 kids aged 7 to 12. We're always looking for a place for the kids to have a blast and "leave us alone", lol. This house definitely did that. 😉 It provided the kids with days and hours of entertainment and gave us the chance to enjoy time with friends. I'd recommend this house to anyone looking for a place with a ton of rooms/beds and a lot of options for entertainment. The hosts thought about everything. The home is very well equipped and made a great home away from home. Note: The pool is 6ft deep on one end.

The best family get away!

We rented this home for a family gathering with our daughters and their families. This was the perfect house! It was fully stocked with everything you need. Very clean upon arrival. The owners are absolute gems to work with! Great communication! Adults and grandkids (ages infant - 15) thoroughly enjoyed the pool! Looking forward to renting again!

Fabulous Stay!

Our three-generation family spent a long weekend. The home is comfortable and well-equipped. The hosts of thought of everything! The coffee bar was stocked with coffee and tea. We liked having the option of Keurig and drip coffee. Plenty of room for everyone - we loved the spaciousness.. The pool was enjoyed by all as was the theater. There was no shortage of basics - towels, shampoo/conditioner/soap, dishes, glasses, etc. The location is close enough to town if you need to make a run, yet while at the home, you feel as if you are so far out in the country. The view is peaceful and serene. We had one minor issue that was addressed immediately - the hosts were extremely accommodating and responsive. Our family highly recommends this home for a family stay.

Great Family Christmas

The house was awesome. There was never a time when people were bored especially our older teens. Plenty of room for games and gift exchange. The huge tree when we entered the house was wonderful. Our younger ones spent a lot of time in the pool.

Christmas Holiday

My family celebrated Christmas at this house. The kids loved playing in the pool and watching movies in the theater. Our hosts had a beautiful Christmas tree set up to set the mood for the holiday. It was a great weekend.

Amazing weekend

This property was perfect for our large family weekend getaway. The kids had a blast with all of the different activities you have to offer. Us adults were able to relax with the safety measures in place with gates and locked door to the pool. We all left the weekend refreshed and We can only imagine how much fun we would have in the summer. Thank you again-we hope to be back!

Husbands 70th Birthday weekend

The property itself is beautiful & The house was great. The pool was amazing for the kids and the large garage was great for the older grandkids who could play games in there. The crow river area of the property made for some beautiful family pictures. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, like being at home!

My grown children their spouses, our grandchildren and my wife really enjoyed our stay. Driving the golf cart down to the river and relaxing there was really fun for everyone. The 6 bedrooms upstairs and downstairs gave everyone some privacy to sleep (we came from 4 different time zones) and the kitchen/livingroom/dining area was large enough for all of us. Everything worked.I would stay here again

Large home with a pool

We travelled with our dear friends to this home for a stay over Labor Day weekend. We had a lot of children between the three families, so the bunk room in the basement was SO fun! The children also enjoyed the projector screen for movie nights. Also, the indoor pool was a huge hit with everyone! The property is huge, and they have a go-cart to travel around the land (which the kiddos loved!) The access to the river with the kayaks and the canoes wasn’t very doable with little kids, so sadly, we didn’t attempt that. All n all, we had a lovely time together with our dear friends! Thank you for offering your home so we could accommodate everyone!

Indoor Pool House

We had a very nice time, enjoyed having the indoor pool, canoes, kayaks, and inner tubes for fun activities! Plenty to keep everyone busy! Lots of dishes, silverware, cutlery, cooking and baking pots and pans. Plenty of towels for bathing etc. Could have used a few more pool towels. Overall, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the home tremendously!

Nice place.

We totally enjoyed our stay. The place was great. Would have liked a fire pit a bit closer to the house in addition to the one by the river. Tubes were a lot of fun!! Owners were amazing. We had a bit of a pool issue the first day and they came to fix it immediately, within an hour!!! Great customer service on their end. Loved the location, so close to Mall of America and the State Park with waterfall, yet far enough away that ya' felt relaxed.

Crow River

Wonderful property that was able to accommodate 7 adults and 7 children. The pool was amazing and we enjoyed all the amenities. The golf simulator area is a bit small and confusing to run and the river is a bit of a hike but very nice as an option! Overall, a really great experience!

Perfect for a family visit!

I grew up in the area and chose this spot because it was so close to my friends and family. It was so nice to have space for them to come over for dinner, swim, golf, run around in the yard, check out the river and then send them home! The house is well stocked for a group, and has plenty of places to sleep and something to entertain everyone. I'd stay again for my next trip. Highly recommended!

Native Minnesotans, we grew up and currently reside about 30 minutes North of the Twin Cities on a horse farm. We got married in 2015 and have four beautiful children. We became interested in real estate nearly ten years ago and have a love of unique and interesting homes.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because of its uniqueness and serene setting as well as the recreation opportunities. Having an indoor pool, swimming year round is a luxury that we wanted for ourselves and our guests to have. In the summer, we love the river and the opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and fishing that it provides. The 22 acres makes for beautiful, long walks and the fenced yard means this home is very child and pet-friendly. Another enormous benefit is the distance from the cities; this home has endless nature but is only 35 minutes from downtown Minneapolis.

What makes this property unique

Crow River Resort caught our eye because of the breathtaking river and wildlife and incredible indoor pool. We felt that this home would make a beautiful retreat where people can come to relax, unwind, and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city without traveling too far.
