The Neighborhood:
The property is centrally located between Downtown and Tybee Beach.
The neighborhood is right across from the highway, but you will barely hear any road noise - you will, however, enjoy the benefits and convenience of being able to reach anywhere in Savannah in no time!
There are many convenience stores, gas stations, restaurants, Publix, and a Walmart nearby. So you can get all you need for your stay without a fuss!
Getting Around:
The property is conveniently located halfway between Tybee Island’s beaches (15-min) and Downtown Savannah (10-min). You can easily Uber/Lyft to either side if you're not interested in driving around - but you will definitely need transportation to get around as the roadways are not walkable due to the lack of sidewalks.
You can certainly go for a morning stroll on the secondary roads here as they are mostly quiet during the day.
There is a very nice Publix grocery store approximately two minutes from the house.
In the event of an emergency, you can go to Urgent Care 24/7 in Whitemarsh (6-minute drive). The Chatham County Police Precinct is approximately 2.5-miles. And the closest fire emergency station is 1.5-miles away.
