Whether you’re looking for a cozy space to bundle up and relax in the hot tub, play pool on a Friday night, or rest after a long day of boating on the lake -THIS is the place! Kenley Creek Lodge is an ALL Season lodge sitting right along the babbling creek where you can relax in the hot tub on the back porch and be one with nature. Only a minute drive down to Egypt Hollow boat ramp accessing Brookville Lake! Enjoy time with friends and play pool under the color changing neon lights, roast marshmallows around the large fire pit, or cozy up while watching a movie with the blackout blinds (also making for a perfect nights sleep!). This property is both comfortable and functional for any time of year and any reason to get away. The lodge is decorated for each season. Fall and Christmas are particularly beautiful, but a snowy January is spectacular!

Fantastic House

The host was very accommodating. The lodge was very clean and had a lot of amazing features. The family had an amazing time playing pool and bowling on the front porch. We will definitely be back to stay.

Miami Graduation

Super clean property with great aesthetic. Room to spread out the family inside and outside. The game room is awesome. We enjoyed opening the glass garage door while playing pool. The hot tub was clean and lots of fun too. Kitchen is well stocked and there are a variety of tables. The hosts are wonderful and very responsive to any questions.The location is a little remote, but there are restaurant and grocery options less than 25 minutes away.

A Friendsgiving Getaway

My husband and I and a couple of friends stayed here for a weekend to celebrate Friendsgiving together. We enjoyed the babbling brook, the hot tub, and the cool lighting throughout. The owners were kind and helpful and the place was clean. There is a lake right down the road but it was November weather and the water was low, but we did enjoy walking down to see the water. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

Just what you need…!

This property will not disappoint! We were attending a family wedding nearby and wanted more than a hotel room and were so delighted with what we walked into. The owners met us and shared the story about the transformation of what used to be an old bait shop. The love, thought and artful design that went into this place added a specialness we just didn’t expect. It was all amazing, but our time around the fire pit provided additional memories and relaxing atmosphere that was much needed after the hectic day of a wedding celebration. If you are looking for a true escape with class- this is it!!

Wrong Days Booked

I had inadvertently booked the wrong month and didn’t catch it. I missed the check in due to thinking it was later. I was able to talk to the host and book another weekend in July. I still had to pay for my errant booking. I understand why. The host, Molly, was sympathetic and helped me find other dates to actually use the property. I can’t really rate anything yet because I haven’t been a guest at the property yet. I am looking forward to being at the property in July.

Dinner club getaway

This was a good spot to really get away from everything. The backyard fire pit and creek makes a perfect spot for relaxing and Brookville Lake is a short walk away. The renovation of a former bait shop into a cabin made for a cozy, comfortable spot to stay. Only wish was for more dinnerware and flatware - we had to use paper coffee mugs and plastic spoons in order to all enjoy coffee and breakfast together due to limited amounts of each.

Wonderful Getaway!!

I can't say enough about how great our stay was! It started from the moment we walked through the property! I appreciated all the inside info for local favorites. The property was one of the most stocked we have ever been to, and typically owners make things look nice but skimp on the basics. This is not the case here. The beds couldn't be any more comfortable (even the sheets and blankets were 5 star), the stocking for basic needs was top notch, it was clean, the hot tub and pool table were a huge hit, the property was tranquil and we couldn't have been more pleased!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

My husband, me, and our friends went for a short weekend to relax. All used the hot tub (and frequently)! We sat out by a fire each evening, We all slept well! The property was within walking distance of a lake...so, we wished we'd taken our kayaks and fishing poles. The property was clean and the owners were amazing. If you're looking for just a place to get away from the busyness of life...this is the place! Gary and Molly did an amazing job remodeling it. I only wish I'd had a dryer to use for my swimsuit.

Best weekend ever!!

This was the best weekend ever, my sisters and I have never been on just a sister retreat. Thank God that we found this place from the chilled glasses in the freezer to the soaps and shampoos & coffee pods ext….. Just everything we could want or need they had & more! Molly was so amazing also was there if we had any issues could not ask for a better people was kind and welcoming. I can’t wait to go again along with my sisters and other family members. Perfectly picturesque getaway

I can’t say enough about Kenley Creek Lodge. It is a perfect getaway.Close to the lake but far enough out of town to be an escape Molly was an amazing host. The cabin is beautiful and we will be going back Definitely recommended!!!!

The story of our lodge began in early 2021 as a project for a close by weekend get-a-way in place of traveling 6 hours to the hills of Tennessee. And what a transformation has taken place from former bait shop/marina to high end comfort just 10 miles from our actual home.
We enjoy not only entertaining and meeting those who live in the surrounding campgrounds, but also frequenting the local eating and entertainment spots in nearby Brookville, Laurel and Connersville.

Why they chose this property

Egypt Hollow is rich with history, as it was formed when the Army Corp of Engineers decided to create a 17 mile long, man-made lake back in the early 1970"s. This created the Hollow itself when the existing farm was divided, and a state boat ramp was created only 1500 ft from the front door of our lodge. It's perfectly quiet from Oct. - April and a wonderful mixture of campers and boaters during the summer months.

What makes this property unique

You won't find another place anything like Kenley Creek Lodge! It is custom designed and unique right down to the customized door decorations throughout the lodge.

The lodge is nestled down in the "holler" just 20 feet off of a babbling creek that has a concrete crossing, which leads those who want to hike up a challenging 12 acre climb to the top. Inside you will find a modern industrial look with a little rustic flare. The unique metal work that is throughout this lodge along with the LED lighting makes for an atmosphere perfect for entertaining or relaxing.
The dwelling itself is divided into two separated sides. There is the pool room with an indoor/outdoor entertaining opportunity with a glass garage door that can be lifted to enjoy both the comforts of inside and the beauty of the large wrap around porch outside. There is a vintage pool table, two bar top tables and stools, along with a comfy hide-a-bed sofa in this area with an electric fireplace.
The living side has a beautiful kitchen, two bedrooms and bath, along with a leather sectional and electric fireplace. The kitchen is cozy and inviting with seating at both the island and industrial tall top table for four. You will always find mugs and wine glasses chilling in the freezer and locally grown popcorn to pop available on the counter.
The sliding door in the kitchen exits out to the hot tub on a covered porch giving way to a wonderful view of the creek and woods. A moonlight soak is a must while you are here.
Outdoors, the color pallet continues! There is a firepit just feet from the creek where you can relax and listen to the water and watch the wildlife as they move through the woods on the opposite side of the creek. Day or night, you will enjoy this spot for sure!
