My name is Hilary and I live in Augusta, GA with my husband and one-year-old son. We love this neighborhood--it's gated and very safe. You can walk or run in the neighborhood, day or night, and there are sidewalks throughout most of it. I love to take my son for walks where I usually push him in his little blue car. He thinks he's a cool dude!
Why they chose this property
Our home is not ostentatious or flashy. We live here, and its style reflects our personalities. We have a large, comfy sofa in our family room that's great for curling up and watching a movie on our large flat screen with surround sound. The walls are covered in colorful artwork that's important to either me or my husband. Family pictures are everywhere, and a lot of the beautiful, antique furniture has been in my family for many, many years.
We have an outdoor, heated swimming pool and large outdoor kitchen with television and surround sound. There's a fire pit with chairs surrounding it, which is a great place to sit and relax. Lush, tropical trees and plants surround the pool and cover the backyard, giving it a vacation-at-home feel!
Our house is 6 miles from the National golf course, which is definitely close enough to easily be able to enjoy the tournament but far enough away that the traffic problems aren't much of an issue.
