There was great communication with the renter was completely honest and upfront about the arrangement. The space was really cute. The area is beautiful. I’d recommend it to anyone.
We liked the location except for the unpaved way going to the Split Rock Look out. The cabin is clean and cozy. Overall we had a pleasant experience during the labor day weekend!
We had such an amazing stay here. It had everything we needed and more. The views from every window are gorgeous! Thank you!

Definitely a diamond in the rough! If you have a AWD vehicle/ confident driver that can handle the road it’s an awesome property super clean and checked all our boxes! Super easy check in and super responsive host. Just know there’s no WiFi there it’s a glitch in the system that keeps saying there is on the listing. You do have 5G service through 90 percent of the time so it doesn’t really matter anyway!
We were looking for a quick getaway from the city and this listing was exactly what we needed. True to the information provided, we loved the cozy privacy of our stay.
It was the perfect July 4 "Fireworks Escape" for my (reactive) dog and me. We didn't hear any loud booms!
The cabin was spotless which was very much appreciated. I enjoyed the pellet stove and the vintage windows as well as the privacy the location afforded. Fun!
The mountain views were fantastic as was the changeable weather.
The primitive road from Highway 2 to the cabin was a drag. Too challenging for a small car, though the road is slated to be fixed which would make a huge difference.
The surrounding area is beautiful and worth the trip. I think you would enjoy your visit!
Very nice, but not fancy. Met our needs. Secluded hillside, elevated cabin
This place was perfect for our week-long trip to the area.
Lots of hiking within a few miles. Also, not too far to drive to shopping, antiquing, etc.

Comfortable space
Overall, the stay was nice. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen was set up with everything you need. The reason for not giving 5 stars, the driveway to access the property was not ideal. The sign as you start up it says do not attempt unless you have 4 wheel drive. Luckily I had AWD. The other reason for not giving 5 stars is there is no way to lock the space when you leave to go explore. The description says it has a deadbolt, but it does not. In addition, there is no WIFI, and there are no curtains on the windows (with the exception of one window in the bedroom). It was nice, and I appreciated the comfortable space. Thank you
Good commutation with host. Photos are accurate to the property. Definitely coming back!

We needed a place to stay before and after kayaking down Sky River, and this place was perfect for us.
The cabin is clean and tidy, with all necessary amenities five minutes' drive from Big Eddy Public Water Access and Family Grocer supermarket.
Surrounded by the trees it was a wonderful place to relax after a day in the sun on the river.
We didn't know the area, and our hosts, Scott and Christina, helped us with their advice, directions,
and knowledge of the river. Their heartwarming hospitality made our stay very special.
The driveway's not paved, which can be tricky if wet. Don't drive all the way up to the main house; the rental cabin is lower, on the left. No Wi-Fi but the mobile connection is excellent so we could use the Internet.
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Great location, close to hikes, the river, and town if you need anything. House was clean and extra bonus of having Tupperware for leftovers, something we always forget.
We needed a place to stay for a quick weekend trip and this was a nice little cabin. Modest, but clean and everything worked well. Reasonable price and host was very responsive when we had questions. Just a note that there is no Wifi (which is accurate on the listing but easily missed).
This cabin is small and quaint. Located across from the Skykomish River. There were lots of activities to do near by (swim in the river, hike Heybrook Lookout, venture into Gold Bar, Index). The host, Scott, was a delight to communicate with and also provided us with a freshly caught sockeye salmon that was tasty!
If you’re looking for a getaway from city life and enjoy solitude, this is the perfect place. I would and will be back to stay again in the future.
