Georgian Beach Lane is the perfect waterfront getaway for families or a group of friends that want to enjoy each other’s company in a quiet area only 30 min from Blue Mountain. This fabulous property has a renovated large log cabin with spectacular finishes just steps from the water. You’ll find a first floor great room and four bedrooms on the second floor. You can watch the sunrise with your morning coffee on the front porch while taking in the sparkling waters of Georgian Bay.
You’re a 5-minute drive to fantastic eateries and local shopping in Meaford for anything you need. This home is excellent for gatherings around the fire pit and spending time with friends and family in this spacious updated log cabin.
The cabin has fabulous wood accents and a cozy charm that creates an intimate experience. The main floor has plenty of windows for beautiful Bay views and an open-concept layout to stay connected during your stay. As you walk in, you’ll see the flow from the living room, to the dining, and kitchen. Tucked around the corner is a secluded office area to work in while overlooking the yard, as well as a 4-piece bathroom and laundry machines so you can pack light. Upstairs, you’ll find four spacious bedrooms, 2 of which have views of the water to wake up to.
When the beach calls your name, head down to the 65ft private shoreline featuring a natural beach with an overlooking fire pit area and a hot tub off the cottage deck.
Kitchen
The cabin hosts a large kitchen with plenty of counter space for meal preparation. Complete with stainless steel appliances, you’ll feel right at home with everything you need. There is even a dishwasher for easy clean-up! No need to worry about any cutlery - all of the dishes, bakeware, spices, and utensils are provided. Just bring your food and favourite beverages!
Living Room
The living area has a rustic feel with wood accents, a cozy fireplace, board games, and a TV to catch up on your Netflix binge. It invites conversation or just curling up with a good book.
Bedrooms
The cabin hosts four bedrooms upstairs, two of which have water views. The primary bedroom has a king bed, and you can watch the sunrise from your window as you wake up. The second bedroom hosts a comfortable queen bed with water views. You’ll find a comfortable queen and double bed and a bright interior in the other two bedrooms that face the loft.

There are two buildings on our property, the log cabin and a large garage with loft living. You will only have access to the log cabin and private beach. The garage is listed separately. We do offer both spaces to be rented together, if you're interested in renting both (for 14 guests) please let us know!
I work in Toronto but my co-host Kylie is only a quick message or phone call away to help you with anything you might need! Most of the time we will not be available to meet with guests but don't hesitate to contact us.
The cottage is located 10 minutes from Meaford, a four-season playground that has it all: great live theatre and concerts, fresh local food, unique shopping, nature at your doorstep, recreational activities, a beautiful harbour and waterfront campground, and so much more.
We are home to Meaford Hall - a restored 330-seat theatre, concert and cinema venue - plus unique boutiques, delicious eateries, and services of all kinds. Just a few minutes out of the downtown core you'll find acres of rolling countryside, charming historic villages, secluded beaches and unspoiled natural areas.
The views are amazing, the people are friendly, and the opportunities are endless. It’s all happening, right here in Meaford.
We're also 35 minute drive to Blue Mountain! It's a great place to land after a day of skiing on the slopes.
Almost everything is within a 10 minute drive from the cottage! The local grocery store is about a 10 mins drive away.
We're 20 minutes from Thornbury and 35 minutes to Blue mountain by car.
Free parking is available in the driveway.

Linens: sheets, pillows, duvets with covers, extra blankets are provided. Towels and beach towels are available for you but feel free to bring your own!
There are two buildings on our property, the log cabin and a large garage with loft living that is listed separately. You may interact with other guests, but the spaces feel very separate with only a shared driveway and parking area.
We take being good hosts seriously, and we are proud "Hostfully Hosts." This means when you stay with us, we will email you a Hostfully guidebook link. The guidebook contains all the essential information about your stay, as well as provide recommendations for things to do in the surrounding areas. It's easy to navigate, and if you are out and about, you can access it from your phone.
To ensure you have a wonderful stay, we’ve equipped this home with a Minut sensor. It monitors noise (but does not record sound), occupancy, temperature and humidity, helping us keep our home and our neighbourhood safe, healthy and comfortable. It notifies us if it gets too loud, to ensure all guests have a pleasant stay and our neighbours are not disturbed.

- No parties or events
- Smoking is not allowed indoors. Please smoke outside while enjoying the fresh air.
- As part of your cleaning fee, we are able to dispose of 3 full sized garbage/recycling bags. You will need to ensure your garbage & recyclables are split into separate clear bags (provided) of a) garbage, b) cans/plastic/glass, c) fiber/paper, e) beer/liquor beverage containers. For every additional bag of garbage/recycling there is an additional charge of $20/bag in order to arrange for additional garbage removal. Additionally if your garbage and recycling is not sorted properly and requires additional handling to meet municipality dump requirements we will need to charge an additional $10/bag.
To help keep the space clean, we are a no-shoes household. Please remove your shoes immediately after entering the cottage

- Please turn off lights when you are finished in a space/room. Let’s be energy conscious together!
- The cottage plumbing runs to a septic system on the property. Please only flush toilet paper down the toilet.
- Loud music is not permitted outside as per the municipality by-law.
- Dogs must be kept on leash at all times when out doors
- No fireworks
- Please drive slowly on Georgian Beach Lane. The speed limit is 15 km/h and local residents have children and pets we need to watch out for. Thanks!
