This was the perfect getaway for our large family. The house was charming, comfy and the outside property was large, with outdoor dining and lots of seating, easy access to play in the water. Jenni was a great host and easy to communicate with.
We are a large family in town for our granddaughter’s graduation. The home was perfect for a family bbq, late night games, and relaxing by the river. The kitchen is well equipped, beds comfy, and views amazing.
This is our second time staying and we love this property. Beautiful yard next to the river. Lots of areas to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. House is very comfortable and accommodating. Very clean and well taken care of. Hosts are responsive and easy to communicate with.
We loved so many things about this property:
-Private dock access to the river
-Covered back patio
-Ready to use BBQ on the patio
-Patio table and chairs, we made dinner in the kitchen each night and ate outside on the covered patio watching the sunset.
-3 full barhrooms, each with showers.
Jenni was great to work!
This Snake River Getaway was perfect! The host was amazing, and the communication was perfect. This trip was heaven. Me and my wife and our kids - 8 of us total - fit perfectly. It was clean and welcoming. We will definitely be booking again (and again and again). Checkin and checkout was easy. Such a fun getaway.
This location is quickly becoming one of our families favorite traditions. The host is so great to work with. The river is amazing. Inside the home is clean, organized, and perfectly laid out for our family. We spent time watching the river from the deck. we grilled and ate and watched neighbors fireworks for the 4th of July. We also used the firepit by the waters edge to make smores and watch the sunset. A perfect getaway and soo much fun!
This property was so Awesome & Peaceful but yet with plenty for the kids to do with swimming & fishing. The boat ramp being cement was perfect for the younger kids to go on & set a boundary that they couldn’t go past where the cement ended. Sunsets were Amazing & bird life was great - Thank you guys !!!
Beautiful, well kept property on the river. We has such a wonderful time here with onsight river access, beautiful yard and porch to relax and play games on. House was very clean, updated and had lots of areas for sitting and visiting. Host was very good with communication and answered questions quickly. Will definitely consider using this properly again.
I read other reviews stating that they return to this special place again and again. Having stayed here with our family, I can see why people would want to come back! Our family of seven loved having instant access to the river. We went in August and honestly felt like we had the river to ourselves! Our kids enjoyed jet skiing, fishing from the dock and swimming. The house was organized, well stocked and the rooms were comfortable. I loved the laundry room situation and appreciated that they provided beach towels. The views, especially the sunsets, were amazing. Our host was thoughtful and easy to communicate with.

About the host
Hosted by Jenni Peacock
We are Zach and Jenni Peacock and we have four kids. Our family motto is "Work hard and Play hard" and we live that. We enjoy kayaking, swimming, and fishing on the Snake River during the summer and then skiing in all sorts of places from Utah to Idaho in the winter.
Why they chose this property
It was my Grandpa's house until he died. We couldn't stand to lose the house or the beautiful property on the river so we bought it and now enjoy sharing it's peaceful setting with others.
What makes this property unique
The property is one acre on the Snake River. With the Minidoka Dam about seven miles up stream and the Milner dam around about thirty miles down stream it has caused the river to be wide and deep in this section creating a perfect spot for boating, fishing, kayaking, and all the fun that you would have on a reservoir or lake. The property has its own boat ramp making it easy to launch your boat here. Then easily hook up the boat to the private boat dock right off the property. We also have an expansive yard that makes for a great place to relax and enjoy the river and outdoors. With its rural location we see lots of wildlife such as beaver, raccoon, deer, foxes, and skunks.
