Hike Carl Sandburg National Historic Site, Palmetto Trail or DuPont State Forest. Walk to Tuxedo Park for a game of pickle ball (we have a set for 4 you may use). Well mannered pets are welcomed with a small pet fee, they will love the fenced-in back yard!
The Property: You'll love this quaint, cozy two bedroom, one bathroom cottage. Bath has custom tile shower (no tub). Our guests love to have morning coffee or read a book on the screened front porch, and you will, too! The front porch has casual seating for three or four. The fenced in back yard includes a deck for relaxing or dining (casual seating for four and a bistro table with seating for two). There is room for four at the picnic table under the custom pergola. You can enjoy a meal or a game of checkers outdoors. Sit by the Solo Stove fire pit in the evening. Throws are available if the evening air gets really cold. Enjoy a round of croquet or corn hole in the back yard or basketball/pickleball at the community park!
Guest access: You'll have access to the whole house and grounds.
Other things to note: Tuxedo Park is within walking distance. it's a small park but well appointed! There is playground equipment and nicely paved walking trails. Newly added combination basketball/pickleball court! It's first come, first served. We offer our pickle ball set for loan if you'd like to play a game at the park. Dollar General is across the street from Tuxedo Park.
NOTE: Your safety matters. There is a doorbell camera on the front porch. The camera faces the front driveway. It does not look into any interior spaces. The device camera records video/audio when it detects motion or when the video doorbell button is pressed.
