Thanksgiving Getaway

This property is in the middle of nowhere, but it was perfect for us. We needed a place to fit the whole family for Thanksgiving, and this property was perfect! Knowing the remoteness of the property ahead of time helped us with planning, so we were able to bring in everything we needed and stay there the whole week. It was great to be able to bring our dogs as well, and the host was super responsive when we needed help.

Great stay

Great little home tucked out of the way. It was large and the inside was new. We had 4 great bedrooms for our whoke family to have their own little place. It was cleaned and stocked and friendly. There was a large deck and yard for my dogs. They loved the yard. The hosts were really laid back and friendly and worked with us on everything! The nearest gas and store is 16 miles away during the week and i liked thay kind of seclusion. The lake and swimming areas were great. The fishing was a lot of fun. 10/10 recommend!

Cute and Cozy Stay by the Lake

My family and I drove from Oklahoma to stay in this house and take part in the activities near by it and it did not disappoint. Not only is the house located less than a mile from the lake but it’s a close drive to some of the local crystal mines around too. The house was one of the best parts of the stay, it was so cute and so spacious. The house was clean when we arrived and well stocked with kitchen utensils and pans/pots. The owner Sarah was an amazing host and answered all my questions with kindness and in a timely manner. She also allowed my two pups to stay which I really appreciated! I highly recommend this house rental and would stay again!

Pretty Remote

This house is pretty on the inside but the outside is not. The outside does not look like it's depicted in the pictures. The surrounding area is not someplace I would choose to stay. We did have some issues with cleanliness, dirty silverware and dishes, coffee pot water reservoir was very dirty. The decks were covered in leaves and the outside furniture was too dirty to sit on. There was also food from someone else left in the fridge. There was supposed to be a book of directions, never found that. Only one TV worked and that was just one streaming service, no live TV. Could not use WIFI, didn't know the password, if there was WIFI. It's also very far away from anything, the lake is fairly close but that's it.
