I an fortunate to be an experienced traveler and have been to 5 continents! I studied Spanish through college and fell in love with Mexico because of the warmth of its people, affordability and how well I was treated whenever I visited.
Why they chose this property
I discovered Tafer Resorts about 8 years ago and was impressed by the quality and design of its facilities, its culinary standards and high level of service. Their primary goal is fine service and they model themselves after much more expensive brands.
What makes this property unique
The property has a beautiful lobby with piano player and exquisite selection of pools. There are musicians playing the flute and saxophone all day and a DJ on the rooftop at night. They are constructing a beautiful new area called Tierra Luna with shops, cafes and lush greenery. It is not ideal for ocean swimming during certain seasons due to a high level of seaweed but the hotel staff maintain the beachfront daily.
